Kids for Kindness is Cyprus's largest youth volunteer non-profit organization, founded by Dr. Elena Phoka Cook to raise community-minded children through hands-on acts of kindness.
Yesterday our MSU Community teamed up with Kids For Kindness to deliver their first ever mission in Pafos! Families visited the amazing team at PAWS Dog Shelter, Paphos, Cyprus, the children were given the responsibility of donating food and cleaning products. Families were divided into 3 groups, to visit bigger dogs, visit smaller/young dogs and the other group were took the dogs for walks.
The event was inspiring, seeing how our children and the dogs lit up around each other. I am very proud to have been involved in such an event and even more proud to hear from some families whose children have been inspired and will be volimteering at the shelter to walk dogs on a weekly basis.
The positive impact of events like this can not be spoken about enough. I'd like to send a big thank you to Polly of Kids 4 Kindness who created and coordinated this event and anothet thank you to the amazing volunteers who keep PAWS Shelter running, giving the dogs the opportunity to find food, safety and love ❤️
