Promitheas BC has long been part of Promitheas FC. Recently, Promitheas FC experienced a change in its board and shifted its strategic priorities.

Fortunately, Proodeftikos—a club with roots in handball and other sports—was happy to welcome our badminton club under their umbrella. You can learn more about them here:

While our name has changed, the badminton club remains the same at its core.

Albatross Badminton Club ‘83 is thrilled to announce the opening of its newest branch in Geroskipou, offering opportunities for both children and adults to discover and enjoy the exciting sport of badminton.

With a mission to attract new players, train athletes and enthusiasts, and foster a healthy, active community, the club aims to make badminton accessible and enjoyable for all. The club also hopes to inspire the next generation by encouraging adults to lead by example—training, playing, and demonstrating that staying active can be both fun and rewarding.

Starting Saturday 6 September, the Lyceum, Gianakis Taliotis in Geroskipou will host badminton sessions, where children and adult members can practice, develop their skills, and enjoy the sport in a welcoming environment.
