Summer in Cyprus isn't just about the sea! We've also been exploring the mountains - forests, high altitude trails and rivers.
On some of our recent summer mountain adventures, we've been observing these incredible creatures - freshwater crabs that live in the streams and rivers of Cyprus.
A critically endangered animal, spotting Potamon potamios takes patience and expert local knowledge.
This particular specimen was found in the Diarizos river - clinging to a rotting log. A clever strategy that meant they could keep one eye under water and one eye looking out over the surface.

Join us this MONDAY, 24th AUGUST, on our classic half day (morning) beginners/intermediate SEA KAYAKING adventure in Paphos.
This unique tour is suitable for anyone over the age of 12 and the €49 price includes all equipment (kayaks, buoyancy aids, etc), all instruction and free transport from Paphos/Pegeia.
*Also included in the price are professional photos of your adventure*
Spend time kayaking along the stunning Paphos coastline.
Launching from a calm and sheltered bay, we'll go through all of the kayaking basics with you before heading offshore to get a unique view of the stunning Akamas Park.
We'll also paddle to the beautiful Geronisos Island and visit sea caves and isolated, remote, wild beaches.

BIRTHDAY SEA KAYAKING ADVENTURE IN PAPHOS 12.08.26
These four fab friends were looking for a unique way to celebrate a milestone birthday - they got in touch and we organised a morning of sea kayaking and cave exploring.
Arriving at a remote, wild beach during the adventure, we produced a birthday cake and candles with which to surprise the birthday boy!
All four of the group were an absolute pleasure to spend the morning with - we had so much fun!
