SEA KAYAKING IN PAPHOS

Join us, this MONDAY, 19th OCTOBER, on our classic half day (morning) beginners/intermediate SEA KAYAKING adventure in Paphos.

This unique tour is suitable for anyone over the age of 12 and the €49 price includes all equipment (kayaks, buoyancy aids, etc), all instruction and free transport from Paphos/Pegeia.

*Also included in the price are professional photos of your adventure*

Spend time kayaking along the stunning Paphos coastline.

Launching from a calm and sheltered bay, we'll go through all of the kayaking basics with you before heading offshore to get a unique view of the stunning Akamas Park.

We'll also paddle to the beautiful Geronisos Island and visit sea caves and isolated, remote, wild beaches.

Next Saturday, 17th October, one of our instructors is taking on a 50k running challenge, in aid of two cancer awareness charities in Paphos.

Starting at 0700 from Paphos harbour, a team of runners will complete the 5k Paphos Path Run course ten times during the day - running every hour, on the hour, for TEN hours!

You are welcome to come and join in, covering any distance you wish from 5 to 50 kilometres - simply be at the start of the coastal path, next to the castle!

- Run to raise awareness.

- Run in support of a friend, relative or loved one.

- Run to achieve something amazing.

HIKING IN CYPRUS - MONDAY 12th OCTOBER

This coming Monday 12th October, we are hiking in the foothills of the Troodos Mountains.

It's in the region of Kaminaria village and we will be following ancient Venetian trading routes, visiting FOUR Venetian bridges as well as the remote mountain community of Kaminaria (a traditional village with less than 15 full time residents).

We'll follow the footsteps of Venetian traders and look at how they foraged in the forest, we'll look at traditional, small scale agriculture and we'll hike to four of the most beautiful Venetian bridges, hidden in the mountain landscape.

The day will consist of x2 circular hikes of 5 kilometres each. We'll eat a packed lunch between the hikes, at a spot in the forest.

*The hike is mainly on loose surfaced, forest trails with occasional road sections.

*A reasonable level of fitness is required for this hike and you must wear suitable footwear and bring appropriate clothing.

*The €49 price includes transport, packed lunch, professional photos and supplimentary equipment (rucksack, poles, etc).

*Group size limited to six people in order to minimise our impact on the forest trails.

ROCK CLIMBING IN PAPHOS 16.09.26

We always take a break from climbing during the summer months of July and August - the heat and humidity mean we simply don't enjoy it as much - we'd rather be in the sea.

So, we are always excited when September arrives, as it marks the start of our autumn climbing season!

We're back on the rock!

And this group were huge fun. A mixture of abilities but all willing to give it their best. A fab day.
