🚴‍♂️ ONE DAY - TWO CASTLES

☀️Sunday 09/05/2021 is going to be a perfect day for an easy weekend ride
⠀
🏰 We start at 10 a.m. from the city centre of Prague and ride to Okoř Castle. It was built in the 13th century. Today we can enjoy the views of impressive ruins
⠀
📸 We will take pictures and after lunch in a local Hospoda ride to Chateau Vetrusy. It is a beautiful, cosy, baroque place with an impressive park
⠀
From this place we either take a train or a minibus to get back to Prague
⠀
Within 4-5 hours we will cycle around 40 km in a comfortable tempo
⠀
🔻We provide: bikes, helmets, water, supervision
🔻You take: good mood, 1200 CZK, a hat
⠀

Easy guided cycling tour starts:
at 10 a.m.
on the 24/04/2021

We still have 3-4 open slots, so feel free to join.
⠀
The plan is to ride about 30 km around parks and greens of Prague in easy tempo with several beer/coffee/photo stops.
⠀
The price of the tour is 900 CZK with bike rental included. Super friendly price and super right tour to start the cycling season 2021.

Начинаем наш легкий велотур в 10 утра в субботу 24 апреля. Пока остаются свободными 3-4 места

План такой: прокатиться по паркам города с остановками на пиво/кофе/фото. Дистанция около 30 км в комфортном темпе на комфортных велосипедах.

Стоимость тура 900 Крон. В сумму включен прокат велосипедов. Очень приятная цена и очень красивый маршрут поездки.

Unfortunately this spring wave we have to conquer being locked in the city. Bearing in mind that there are more than million of us in Prague, we shall plan outdoor activities

So I decided to give you some hints of locations in the city where to enjoy good weather

🔻Divoka Sarka - incity hiking place
🔻Obor Hvezda - calm strolls, relax
🔻Landronka - skating, jogging, walking place
🔻Prokopske udoli - huge area for outdoor activities
🔻Kunratice forest - easy hiking and jogging
🔻Vysehrad - busy place to relax with views
🔻Folimanka - hidden park with less people
🔻Havlickovy sady - beautiful views and relax
🔻Riegrovy sady - jogging and sitting on the grass
🔻Parukarka - easy walks, jogging and views
🔻Vitkov - amazing views, walking and jogging
🔻Letna garden - views, jogging, walking
🔻Petrin garden - hilly walks and views

This is an incomplete list of parks. Mind, that some of them are connected with bike paths. So it is great to plan a route to follow.

Some of this routes we built together with - best bike share office in Prague. Come rent a bike or book a bike tours in tiniest group possible to learn more about the city you live in. They speak English and Russian

Lysolajská pláž is one of the hidden gems of Prague. Located between the hills in the heart of the village this small pond attracts people, who practice open and cold water swimming

This is also a spring with drinkable water. The chemical composition is shown on an info stand nearby

The area is interesting for hiking and cycling. There are quite a number of interesting paths and hills with views. But what makes this place unique is water

it is always cold and clean

We got inspired by following his method step by step and getting more and more to that feeling of how great it is to be in cold

Prague river ride

Today had a shot bike trip a long Vltava up the stream from Barikadnik bridge to Czechuv bridge
⠀
There is a an easy ride path with beautiful locations and interesting details. I did my best to picture them to show you. Look through the gallery and react in the comment

P.S. Since the days are short now, my trips are short as well. But the more I go with the camera, the more outstanding details appear on the way

Jested
⠀
One of the unique places in Czechia in terms of either architecture and nature is Jested. A mountain in Liberec crowned with a huge tower
⠀
🏔Two years ago I made a day trip to this place to literary climb the mountain and enjoy the autumn views
⠀
🏔There is a acfe inside the restaurant to have a coffee and as it was in my case, to dry the clothes after the path to the top
