Going through a layoff can be tough. Here are some tips to navigate this period and emerge stronger:

🗣️ My motto is never stop learning not to become blindfolded at some point. Granted, that might happen to the best of us, but those who try not to - might have a better chance...

So, I’ve entered the studies “Psychologist in medicine” and successfully finished the theoretical part.

The practice in a medical facility is ahead of me and I’ll keep you posted how is it going.

Saturday and Sunday I have spent partly like that - in front of the monitor and in my cabinet - talking to the clients. Some of them shared their realization of a personal growth over the last weekend, some - reflection on their work.

All of us, regardless how high we are in a food chain - need support and time to reflect. I offer what many of the managers need - being heard, space to express themselves, metaforical summaries (I don’t artificially try, my mind simply works in metaphors and I share what I see in my inner sight with the client. Often it helps to appeal to a creative part of brain).

I’m super excited to shared this news - Im staring a short term course, which is meant to help me to integrate in the Czech medical health system. This is a new step for me.
I’m not feeling like an expat here anymore. I’m naturalized, but there’s still so many things which come quite natural to a person, who was born into the system, into the country and those, who have not.

I’m usually working with those of us, who change their life path with their own will. Those, who change the country, those, who change the position in the company they are employed or go explore and follow their dream.

GREAT NEWS!!!!

I can’t hold it anymore!

Today I’m starting my psychotherapy course. It’s a Rogerian psychoherapy at P*P Academy, something very dear to my heart, as in years 2003-2007 I was studying work of Carl Rogers very closely, wrote my year papers and my diploma work on empathy based on his work.

And now, so many years after, I’m officially returning to psychotherapy, psychology and starting my journey forward to who I wanted to be - a helping specialist, supportng individuals on their way to development.
