After more than 15 years of coaching in Prague, this moment isn’t easy to process. Swimming coaching has never been just a job for me. It has been many shared journeys — ones you chose to step into and trusted me to guide you through. It was built on early mornings and late evenings, on moments when a skill finally clicked, on smiles and sometimes tears, on the constant effort to improve and not give up. Above all, it was built on a community that grew and evolved over the years — a community of individuals who chose to work on themselves, but never alone.
Life is now taking me in a new direction, and I’ll be moving out of Prague. But what matters most to me is this: Your swimming journey doesn’t have to stop.
I’ve arranged everything with trusted friends and fellow coaches who share the same values and approach as I do. They will continue delivering the services you know — through their own perspectives — supporting your progress and keeping the Freestylers spirit alive. Nothing else is changing: the app, bookings, and structure all remain exactly as you’re used to. I would be truly grateful if you continue training with Freestylers and help shape its future, because a community is nothing without the people who help to create it.
Personally, I’m not disappearing. I’ll still be coaching and supporting you — just in different formats and from different places. I’ll remain behind Freestylers, working more in the background. It’s no longer a one-man show.
Swimming may look like an individual sport, but anyone who’s been part of Freestylers knows that’s not true. We grow because we do it together. You were never really alone — there was always a coach with you and other swimmers beside you.
And I’m deeply grateful to the more than 1,500 people who have flowed through Freestylers over the years. In 2025 alone, I coached 7 days a week and delivered 1,922 sessions — so I think I’ve earned a few extra days of holiday 🙂
If you’re reading this on social media and made it this far, this is your moment to jump in and change one lifelong skill for the better. And change doesn’t happen in a comfort zone. Cliché, but true. You have to get out there.
