Back on Track is a Berlin based project providing support for refugee children from Arabic speaking countries. Their self-learning approach reminds children of their skills rather than emphasizing the gaps they need to bridge - encouraging them to build their knowledge step by step - mentored by refugee teachers and academics.
The team is currently taking part in a crowdfunding contest: www.startnext.com/back-on-track.
For each donation of €5 or more, before the 15th of September, the bank will give them a bonus of €100,00.

'When people have direct contact with members of a particular ethnic or national group, studies find, they tend to become more tolerant of the group as a whole.
