Don’t know what to read next? 📚 These books are our absolute favorites 💜 they are source to understand the female body, the world that women face, the data that excludes or includes women, the s*ex we talk or don’t talk about; and the gender that defines or doesn’t define us.

Here’s a refresh for you about the phases of your cycle 🌙 🩸✨

 We have 4 phases:

🩸Menstrual Phase: 1st day of your bleed is also the first day of your cycle, where the hormones are at its lowest. This phase can last between 3-7 days on average. Blood colour is usually bright and dark red, even brown at the end of your menstruation. Any other different colour, please check it with a doctor.

 🌼 Follicular Phase: 2nd phase, you feel more energised due to oestrogen and testosterone rising. Time to plan and enjoy the good times!

🥚 Ovulation Phase: 3rd phase in which oestrogen and testosterone are at the peak, progesterone is also rising. You feel a lot of energy, and your libido is also high 🔥 Alone or not, enjoy! You are a goddess and deserve pleasure! The process of the egg being released lasts between 12-24 hours, duration of this phase. But since the s***m can survive up to 6 days, the fertile window is in this week. If you don’t want to get pregnant, use a condom.

🌹Luteal Phase: 4th phase in which progesterone peaks, you get a final energy high and then a low in which you may experience PMS, leading towards your menstruation. It’s the last phase of your amazing cycle. The luteal phase can last 11 to 17 days. For most women, it lasts 12 to 14 days.

How do you interpret and understand your phases? Take notes about your menstruation and always be aware of your ovulation day (we have a post explaining how to track it, check if you forgot). Then you will discover your cycle length. It may be different from cycle to cycle. To discover what is going in your body is truly important!

What is cycling syncing? It's a way of living. It means to unlearn the 24h driven rhythm of man and to dive into the idea of a 28 days rhythm of a woman.

When you are aware in which phase of your cycle you’re currently in- you’re 1 step closer to cycle sync.

When you understand that each of the 4 phases of your cycle (follicular, ovulation, luteal, menstruation) has a different impact on your mood, your concentration, your playfulness, your s*x drive, your work out and digestion- it means you’re 1 step closer to cycle sync.

When you add a few ingredients to your meal according to the 4 phases of your cycle - you’re 1 step closer to cycle sync.

And we will give you a very useful tool on how to do so 💖 Stay tuned and see for yourself later tonight!

Do you know how your hormones work in your body? Finding out which hormone is high and which one is low and how this impacts your mood, your appetite or your s*x drive will make you love yourself even more for the wonders of your female body.

So we created a very simple explanation video for you!

During menstruation, your hormones are at its lowest, which most can notice by feeling they are on low energy. PMS can also continue during this time. After your menstruation, you enter your follicular phase, in which your estrogen and testosterone levels are rising, and you feel more energized.

Once your ovulation starts, estrogen and testosterone are at its peak, progesterone is now rising as well. Energy, mood and your libido are at your highest. During your luteal phase progesterone peaks, then all hormones decrease again. You may notice an energy high and a low, following after, leading towards your menstruation.

For most women, PMS is often a real issue in this phase. We will talk about PMS more in the upcoming posts.

Let us know how you experience your hormonal ups and downs in the comments!

Do you know about the four phases of your menstrual cycle? 🩸✨

We were both quite clueless about it, to be honest. We had little to no idea how it actually works.

This is the first step to cycle sync - get excited about the biology of your body:

The average menstrual cycle is between 21-35 days.

It includes two main phases:
1. the follicular phase (first half);
2. the luteal phase (second half).

As well as two important events:
1. menstruation (when you bleed, the first day of the cycle);
2. your ovulation (when your egg is released).

Have you noticed changes in your mood for each phase? Or that something just works better in that phase of your cycle? Comment here! 💜
