One of the most futuristic stadium projects ever announced may have just disappeared from Saudi Arabia’s plans for the 2034 FIFA World Cup. 🏟️🇸🇦

According to reporting by Reuters, plans for the 46,000-seat NEOM Stadium have reportedly been “shelved indefinitely.”

And this wasn't supposed to be an ordinary stadium.

The venue was planned to sit approximately 350 meters above the ground, integrated into The Line - the futuristic 170-kilometre-long linear city that became the centerpiece of Saudi Arabia’s massive NEOM development.

It was even presented in Saudi Arabia’s World Cup bid as the “most unique stadium in the world.” 🤯

The NEOM Stadium was one of 15 venues planned for the 2034 World Cup, including 11 new stadiums and four existing venues that would be renovated or expanded.

Now, its future is uncertain.

❓ Will Saudi Arabia build another stadium to replace it?

❓ Or will the 2034 World Cup be played across just 14 venues?

The development comes as The Line itself faces major setbacks, with its enormous construction plans reportedly being scaled back and widespread redundancies planned across NEOM.

Meanwhile, other Saudi World Cup projects are continuing, including the Aramco Stadium by Populous, which is scheduled to open next year.

And this isn't the first major sporting project to disappear from NEOM.

The planned Trojena ski resort, which was supposed to host the 2029 Asian Winter Games, has also been cancelled as a host venue.

For a project that promised to redefine what a stadium could be, the question now is simple:

Was NEOM Stadium just too ambitious to become reality? 👀

A new chapter is finally beginning for one of Romania’s most historic football clubs. 🔴⚪

Construction of the new Dinamo Sports Complex is set to officially enter the ex*****on phase on October 1, at the historic Ștefan cel Mare site.

After years of delays, demolition and technical preparations, the project is now moving toward the construction of the new multifunctional arena. 🚧

The next phase will include:

🔨 Demolition of the remaining old structures
🏗️ Deep excavations and bored piling
⚙️ Foundation and infrastructure works
📐 Construction based on the approved technical plans

And the final project will be much more than just a football stadium.

🏟️ ROMA’S NEW STADIUM IS OFFICIALLY MOVING FORWARD! 🇮🇹

The long-awaited new home of AS Roma in Pietralata has taken a major step forward.

The decisive Services Conference has given a favorable opinion on the project’s feasibility, clearing the way for the next stages of development.

Designed by POPULOUS, one of the world’s leading stadium design studios, the project aims to transform the Pietralata area into a new sporting and urban destination for Rome.

With a planned capacity of 60,605 seats, the stadium is expected to become one of Europe’s most impressive new football venues.

🔥 The Curva Sud will be the star of the show.

With almost 23,000 seats on a single tier, it is planned to become one of the largest single-tier supporters’ stands in Europe. The Curva Sud will also rise around 9 meters higher than the Curva Nord, creating an imposing wall of supporters behind the goal.

🔴 Curva Nord will accommodate more than 7,000 supporters, while over 3,000 seats will be reserved for away fans.

The stadium will also feature around 5,500 premium seats, alongside skyboxes, terraces, field-level boxes and extensive hospitality areas covering approximately 21,000 m².

The project will include a Roma museum, official club store, restaurants, retail spaces, conference facilities and corporate areas, turning the stadium into a destination that goes far beyond matchdays.

🌳 The wider development will cover approximately 20 hectares, with new green spaces, pedestrian and cycling routes, and improved mobility infrastructure.

💰 The entire project is valued at approximately €1.05 billion.

The current target is to begin construction by March 2027, with completion planned for 2031 - potentially in time for the UEFA EURO 2032, which will be hosted by Italy and Türkiye.

🏗️VIETNAM’S NEXT FOOTBALLING GIANT! 🇻🇳

A 60,000-seat stadium is rising near Hanoi and this one is set to introduce a feature Vietnam has never seen before. 🏟️

Construction of the PVF Stadium in Hưng Yên officially began on October 19, 2025, with completion targeted for March 2027.

And the scale of the project is already impressive. 👀

Located just around 20 km southeast of central Hanoi, near the PVF youth football academy, the stadium is being developed as a major new venue for football and large-scale events.

But the roof is what makes it special.

The PVF Stadium is designed with Vietnam’s first fully automated retractable roof, capable of opening or closing in just 12–20 minutes.

The massive roof will be supported by an incredible 8,600-ton steel structure.

The stadium will also feature an advanced hybrid modular pitch system, designed to provide excellent drainage, durability and flexibility for major events.

Inspired by iconic venues including AT&T Stadium in Texas and the Singapore National Stadium, PVF Stadium is being designed to meet FIFA standards and potentially host major international football tournaments, as well as concerts and other large-scale events.

🏗️ STADIUM CONSTRUCTION UPDATE — THE WORLD’S BIGGEST STADIUM IS RISING! 🌍🇻🇳

After nearly 9 months of construction, something massive is taking shape in Hanoi.

The construction site of the 135,000-seat VinFast – Trong D**g Stadium has entered a new phase, with a series of enormous 80-meter-high super-towers now rising above the site — marking a major step toward the construction of the stadium’s spectacular retractable dome. 🏟️

And the scale is absolutely INSANE. 🤯

Located in Thuong P**c, Hanoi, the stadium will be the centerpiece of the Hung Vuong International Sports Complex, covering approximately 73.3 hectares.

With 135,000 seats, the project is planned to become one of the largest stadiums ever built potentially making it the largest stadium in the world upon completion.

But size isn't the only thing that makes this project remarkable.

The stadium is being designed with a fully retractable roof, FIFA-standard facilities, advanced AI-powered technology and a strong focus on sustainable, green construction.

🚧 What happens next?

The reinforced concrete structure is scheduled to be completed by December 2026.

Then comes the spectacular part — the installation of the massive retractable dome, along with the electromechanical systems, pitch and other technical components.
