It has been such a creative journey for me - from the first guitar I made in New Zealand to flying to Canada to intensify the training with .guitars to finally setting up my own workshop in Berlin . It's been a real pleasure to meet and to learn from all those creative and talented craftsmen along the way. That's just the beginning, big projects coming up...

The acoustic part of this build is finally done. Next step is adding a floating Humbucker and a pickguard 🤘

Padouk bridge.
Sometimes I find it exciting to just start a piece without knowing the final shape. I'd just measure some key parameter and then start drawing onto the blank, finding lines and get inspired in the process.

Tailpiece roughly in place 🤘

Finished the padouk framed tonight. I spend an estimated 4h on cutting and glueing little red strips of wood into place. I'm really happy with the outcome. It's such a satisfying thing to sand everything flush and your vision comes to life in the end 😎
