On a day with soaring temperatures 🌞, batting first, KSV piled on a massive 369/7 thanks to a superb maiden century from Sourabh (115). He was brilliantly supported by our captain Mohit N (93 off 59) and Neehal Solanki (53 off 35), with the trio building key partnerships and accelerating through the middle and death overs.

With the ball, Chiraag M led the attack with a superb spell of 3/25, while Mohit N (3/28) and Prithviraj U (2/18) wrapped up the innings as SV Zernsdorf were bowled out for 130.

After winning the toss, we decided to bowl first. Our captain Mohit Negi led the bowling attack from the front and struck twice in the opening over, triggering a collapse that saw BCA reduced to 42/8. A brief lower-order partnership lifted them to 67 all out.

Chasing a modest target of 68, KSV’s openers Sanish and Saad provided a steady start, with Sanish hitting a few quick boundaries. Despite a couple of wickets along the way, KSV comfortably reached the target in 12.1 overs, sealing a dominant win. 💪

🏏 KSV vs Eagles Match Summary

After winning the toss we elected to bat first. Our openers .r_nag and once again provided a solid start, stitching together a strong 75-run opening partnership that set up a promising platform.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t fully capitalize on the foundation. Once the openers returned to the dugout, we lost momentum in the middle and lower order, struggling to build on the start. A fighting 24 from Neehal in the middle order was the key contribution that pushed our total beyond 150 runs.

In response, the Eagles’ top order batted responsibly, building valuable partnerships that gradually took the game away from us. Despite a late burst of wickets from our bowlers, the Eagles held their nerve and chased down the target, handing us a 5-wicket defeat.

🏏 Group Stage Wrapped!

KSV closed out the group stage with a 4-wicket win over SV Zernsdorf. 🙌

After winning the toss, Zernsdorf chose to bat first, but our bowlers kept things tight. The opening spell built the pressure, and then our spin duo Sandeep & Prithviraj turned the screws with marathon 10-over spells each, sharing 6 wickets between them. 💥

Chasing 88, we stayed calm and composed. A patient 30 from Abhi anchored the innings as we crossed the target in the 29th over. ✅

With this result, KSV finishes top of Group B in the 50-over series! 🔝

We now head into the final stage, where we’ll face the toppers from the other groups this weekend. 🏆
