🏉🇦🇹 Last weekend we travelled to Vienna to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the .

On Saturday, we joined forces once again and faced the in a friendly match before celebrating late into the night. Moments like these remind us that rugby is about much more than what happens on the pitch.

It is always an honour to play as the Flying Monks alongside the Eagles at international tournaments, and we are incredibly grateful for the friendship we have built over the years. Here’s to many more matches, tournaments and celebrations together. 💛

🏉🇦🇹 Am vergangenen Wochenende zog es die Munich Monks nach Wien, um gemeinsam mit den Vienna Eagles ihren 5. Geburtstag zu feiern.

Am Samstag standen wir erneut gemeinsam auf dem Platz und bestritten ein Freundschaftsspiel gegen die Vienna Celtics, bevor anschließend ausgiebig gefeiert wurde. Solche Wochenenden zeigen immer wieder, dass Rugby weit über die 80 Minuten auf dem Spielfeld hinausgeht.

Es ist uns immer eine Ehre, gemeinsam mit den Eagles als Flying Monks bei internationalen Turnieren aufzulaufen, und wir schätzen die Freundschaft, die über die Jahre entstanden ist, sehr. Auf viele weitere Spiele, Turniere und gemeinsame Erinnerungen. 💛

On May 9th in Erlangen, we joined forces with players from Fürstenfeldbruck, 1860 and the Black n Blues to take the pitch together as one team.
Different jerseys, same passion, same support, same love for the game. Thanks to everyone who made this day so much fun on and off the field 🙌

Am 9. Mai in Erlangen haben wir gemeinsam mit Fürstenfeldbruck, 1860 und den Black n Blues als ein Team auf dem Platz gestanden.
Unterschiedliche Vereine, aber die gleiche Leidenschaft, der gleiche Support und die gleiche Liebe für den Sport. Danke an alle, die diesen Spieltag auf und neben dem Feld so besonders gemacht haben 🙌

Together with 1860 we took the field as one team and gave it everything we had. Even though it was not enough for a win this time, they were solid matches and we learned a lot as a squad. Proud of the effort, the teamwork and the progress we are making together 🤝🔥

At our training camp we pushed ourselves on and off the pitch with intense sessions, theory workshops, 7s and 15s games, and plenty of moments that brought us closer together.

Ein Wochenende voller Einsatz, Lernen und Teamspirit 🏉💛
Bei unserem Trainingscamp haben wir auf und neben dem Platz alles gegeben mit intensiven Einheiten, Theorie-Sessions, 7er- und 15er-Spielen und ganz viel Zusammenhalt.
Besonders schön, dass auch die dabei waren. Immer wieder eine Freude, gemeinsam auf dem Feld zu stehen!

At .innsbruck.snow our women’s team joined forces with players from and to take on the snow as Die Shreklichen.

Cold weather, big tackles and a lot of laughs made it an unforgettable day on and off the pitch. 💛🏉

Beim Snowrugby Innsbruck hat sich unser Frauenteam mit Spielerinnen von Fürstenfeldbruck und StuSta zusammengeschlossen und ist gemeinsam als Die Shreklichen im Schnee angetreten.

Kalte Temperaturen, starke Tackles und viele Lacher machten den Tag auf und neben dem Platz unvergesslich. 💛🏉

The Summer Sport Festival 2026 by brings together a wide range of sports to celebrate q***r visibility, community and competition in Munich.

Rugby is part of it and we’re looking for experienced players for the men’s and women’s tournament. Expect intense matches, strong teams and an amazing festival atmosphere on and off the pitch.
