BUTCHERS BATTLES 2023

We are back in the slaughterhouse in the middle of Copenhagen, The meat packing district, CrossFit Butcher's Lab.

NEW SETUP - TEAMS OF TWO - SAME S*X

This year we are introducing a brand new concept:

THE TROPHY

Butcher's Battles and Butcher's Classics are joining forces.

You and your partner now have the opportunity to compete together in both competitions and become the combined winner of both events in one leaderboard.

THE TROPHY has a seperat awarding and cash prizes for the winners in ALL categories.

DIVISIONS

Masters, Intermediate and RX Athletes will be tested thoroughly in a 1-day competition, which provides exciting events and a unique spectator experience in the old Butchery.

Intermediate (F/M) and Womens Masters 40+ will be on the floor Saturday, April 15th.

RX (F/M) and Male Masters 40+ will be on the floor Sunday, April 16th.

What is Classics without swimming..

Since 2016 we have had swimming on the program every year. This time was the first time the weak link couldn’t hide since the teams were swimming in the same lane simultaneously..

EVENT 2 - TYPHOON
3 Rounds
-100m swim in a 50m pool
-60 asynchro medball GTOH.

Should we take swimming out of the equation next year? We might.

EVENT 1 - MUSTANG

Prepare for the unknown! All athletes woke up not knowing what challenges they were facing. On their way Friday morning they got the message:

11k bike and 5,5k run on an Air field! A road so long, that you can’t see the end of it.
The whole division in one heat.

How many tried that before?
