Relationship Clarity Circles

On my 81st birthday, reflecting on a message I have carried for many years…For many years, I have shared one message:

**Ask Questions. Stay Curious. Your Answers Are Within You.**

Today, I understand these words more deeply.

❎Ask questions—not only *What do I want?* but also: *What have I inherited? What story am I telling myself? What do I now choose?*

❎Stay curious—especially when something unsettles you. Curiosity creates a pause before judgment closes the door.

❎Your answers are within you—but **within does not mean alone**. Sometimes we hear our quiet truth only when another person listens deeply, without advising, judging or trying to fix us.

This is why I continue to create spaces for storytelling, reflection and deep listening.

This morning, during contemplation, these words came to me:

**At eighty-one, I have only one message for the world:**

**First we listen. Then we forgive.
It is the gentle path to wholeness and peace.**

Later, I looked at this corner of my home and realised how much it represents me.

The drum reminds me to listen.
The walking staff speaks of the long climb.
The resting sword represents courage and discernment.
And the globe holds the world to which I offer my one message.

I have been climbing for many years. Perhaps I have now reached a plateau from which I can look back and see the path more clearly.

My two books have emerged from that journey:

and my book in progress,

*A Forgiving Grandmother — The Art of Forgiving: A Gentle Path to Wholeness and Peace.*

First we listen. Then we forgive. I believe one opens the way for the other.

Many of us are not struggling with love.
We are struggling with reactivity.
With how quickly we tighten.
Defend.
Correct.
Withdraw.
Escalate.
Collapse.
Over the past months, I have been refining a structured six-week circle for women navigating complicated family and work relationships.
The Relational Clarity Circle.
It is not therapy.
It is not coaching.
It is not group discussion.
It is disciplined relational reflection.
Each week we practice:
– Speaking without interruption
– Listening without fixing
– Observing our own position
– Strengthening our ability to consciously return to grounded choice when emotions run high
The purpose is simple:
To reduce the time between trigger and core.
Small internal shifts.
Measurable relational change.
The next circle begins Sunday 8 March.
