Bombers FC Women Shine in Dominant Home Victory
The Roosevelt Skerrit Bombers FC Women’s team put on a commanding and confident display, cruising to a 4–0 victory over Harlem United FC on Sunday, January 25th, at home despite challenging wet conditions.
Bombers set the tone early and went into the halftime break with a deserved 1–0 lead. In the second half, the Bombers Ladies turned up the intensity, applied relentless pressure, and stretched their advantage with flowing attacking play and well-taken goals.
The 4–0 scoreline only told part of the story, as Bombers created numerous additional chances and could easily have added more goals with sharper finishing. At the other end, the team remained solid, disciplined, and composed throughout.
A special highlight on the day was the performance of the Bombers goalkeeper, who was making her first stint in goal and marked the occasion in style with a clean sheet — a confident and assured showing on a wet surface.
The emphatic win earned Bombers valuable points

Roosevelt Skerrit Bombers FC U18 Defeated at Home
Roosevelt Skerrit Bombers FC U18 were defeated 4–2 by Bath Estate FC on Sunday, January 25th, in a competitive match played on a wet surface at home.
Bombers went into the halftime break trailing 2–1 but showed improved intensity and urgency in the second half, responding well and creating several scoring opportunities.
Despite enjoying the better of the second-half play and generating multiple chances, Bombers were unable to convert when it mattered most.
Defensive errors proved costly, allowing Bath Estate to extend their lead to 4–2. Bombers continued to press and push forward, but the missed chances ultimately came back to haunt them.
While the result was disappointing, there were positives to take from the second-half performance. The focus now turns to learning from the mistakes, tightening up defensively and improving efficiency in front of goal as the team continues its development
