ST. Joseph Boys & Girls Club

The St Joseph Boys and Girls Club just finished community day of service we cleaned around the old library building.

I want to thank our supporters, friends and family members who are making it possible for is to assist the boys and girls of our community THANKS A MILLION

Parents and I had a heart to heart talk about the things that could affect our children in the community

Today was totally awesome we had a meeting in the middle of the village to hand out backpacks and stationary supplies to the St Joseph Boys and Girls Club

The St Joseph Boys and Girls Club was founded in June 2023 by Davey Luke.

The purpose of the St. Joseph Boys and Girls club

1. To provide a safe and positive environment where the members feel physically and emotionally secure.

2. Provide access to fun and a sense of belonging.

3. Provide access to supporting relationships.

4.Provide meaningful opportunities and expectations.

5. provide formal and informal recognition.

6. Provide a homework club to assist in academic matters.

7. Teach and Develop Leadership skills.

8. Development of Team Work

9. Teaching how to solve problems at the lowest level.

10. Teaching Tactical and Technical skills in Football, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis etc

We are also setting the standard in Dominica leading the way for other communities to do the same in assisting the boys and girls of their communities.
