The Joy Project, Alexandria We take it on our very own shoulders, the responsibility to do something.

Joy is a metaphoric term for human happiness and success in creating a real bond to reality, a contagious state that can be transferred and exchanged between people. We, the International Association for Creation and Training (I-act) have come to realize that the only way for the return of joy is an attempt to cultivate it in the environment and create the atmosphere for the people to practice it

through arts, and hereby we create year after year our very own signature of happiness with the “The Joy Project” to restore joy to our society and streets. After the success of its first five editions, the International Association for Creation and Training (I-act) brings the 6th edition of the Joy Project with a creative program of various artistic and joyful events of circus, puppetry and music held across different venues in Alexandria during the period from 13 to 15 June 2019. I-act expends much effort towards representing Egypt with the highest quality forms of contemporary arts and by spreading joy through arts. So, join us and be part of “The Joy Project”.

البهجة هي ذلك المُصطلح الذي يُعبر عن حالة السعادة الإنسانية والنجاح في التواصل مع الواقع، هي تلك العدوى الحميدة التي تنتقل بين الأفراد، ولهذا نحن نتحمل على عاتقنا مسئولية أخذ خطوات فعلية تجاه استعادة هذه الحالة التي يحتاجها الشارع من حولنا.
نحن في المؤسسة الدولية للإبداع والتدريب (آي – أكت) نؤمن إيماناً راسخاً بتنمية البيئة عبر الفنون، وبأن الطريق الوحيد لعودة البهجة إلى المجتمع هو ممارستها، ولهذا نقرر العام تلو العام أن نعمل على مشروعنا المُميز الذي يستعيد حالة البهجة في الشوارع والمُجتمع وهو (مشروع البهجة).

بعد نجاح دوراته الخمسة الأولى، تقدم المؤسسة الدولية للإبداع والتدريب (آي – أكت) الدورة السادسة من مشروع البهجة، وتأتي هذه الدورة ببرنامج أكثر ابتكاراً يشمل عروضاً للسيرك والعرائس والموسيقى تُقدم في أماكن ومساحات مُختلفة بالإسكندرية في الفترة من ١٣ إلى ١٥ يونيو ٢٠١٩.
هذا وتحاول المؤسسة الدولية للإبداع والتدريب (آي-أكت) أن تبذل غاية جهدها لتقديم مختلف أشكال الفنون المعاصرة، في محاولة لبعث البهجة في القلوب عبر تلك الفنون. لذا، فنحن ندعوكم لمشاركتنا فاعليات "مشروع البهجة".

على مدار أسبوعين شارك مجموعة من الفنانين من الإسكندرية في ورشة عمل يومية مع الراقصة ومصممة الحركة (صوفي دانكن / إنجلترا) والمخرج المسرحي (هوريا سورو / رومانيا) عى تطوير عرض مسرحي راقص تم عرض ضمن فعاليات الدورة السابعة لمشروع البهجة على المسرح الصغير بمكتبة الإسكندرية يومي 21 و 22 نوفمبر 2020.
المشروع والعرض بعنوان "دوائر لا تنتهي" - Never Ending Circles، لنص عن "المسرحيات الست" للكاتب المسرحي النرويجي "جون فوس".
المشاركون: (أحمد سامح - نوران رضوان - مازن حسام الكردي - نادين سعيد - عبد الرحمن صلاح الدين - عمرو الشرقاوي - تسنيم أشرف)

Based on "Plays Six" by "Jon Fosse"; "Never Ending Circles" is a co-production between the Joy Project Alexandria, British choreographer "Sophie Duncan" and Romanian theater director "Horia Suru". They developed the show over the course of 2 weeks with seven Alexandrian performers.

نظم مشروع البهجة ضمن فعاليات الدورة السابعة 2020 ورشتين مُتخصصتين في الأساسيات التقنية للمسرح، وذلك بالتعاون مع مركز الجيزويت الثقافي بالإسكندرية.

الورشة الأولى أساسيات الإضاءة والديكور المسرحي مع المُدرب الأمريكي "جون هووي"، والورشة الثانية عن أساسيات تصميم الأزياء للمسرح مع المُدربة الأمريكية "ميريديث بورينج".

تم تنظيم الورشتين بمركز الجيزويت على مدار يومي الجمعة والسبت 27 و28 نوفمبر 2020.

Over the course of 2 days, the Joy project in collaboration with the Jesuit Cultural Center organized 2 workshops on technical theater principals.

First workshop: "Set and Light Design" with American trainer "John Hoey".

Second workshop: "Costumes Design" with American trainer "Meredith Boring".

افتتح المشروع فرقة الطنبورة البورسعيدية / وتم تنظيم الحفل بالشراكة مع مركز المصطبة للفنون الشعبية المصرية.
