About 67 years after the sinking of the British warship SSThistlegorm at the bottom of the Red Sea north of Hurghada, the shipwreck site was chosen among the top 10 diving sites in the world, by the Federation of International Diving Organizations.
The sinking British warship SSThistlegorm contains dozens of pieces of World War II equipment, including cars and military motorcycles.
It is reported that German flights shelled in World War II, on its way to the Suez Canal and turn it to one of the most important areas of diving in the Red Sea.
