We have not been posting during this tournament due to our engagements with both Karate Australia and the World Karate Federation, however, we thought we would take the time to post about the Para World Championships taking place today.

This sport gives us so much. We love it. And it is no different, and perhaps even more important, for these athletes competing stepping onto the world's biggest stage today.

The Para World Championships is split into three categories of division - Intellectually, Blind/Visually & Wheelchair Impaired. We have so much love for the participating athletes in these divisions and also their teams supporting them on both the local stage and the international stage โค๏ธ

No different is our very own Reece Prior who competed today from Miyagi Kan Lismore under coach Sensei Dean Marshall. Sensei Dean also attended these championships as personal support for Reece and is instrumental to his comfort and confidence on the day of competition. Incredible to see this in Australia and we could only hope to have more of it in the future ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š
