Marwan Ahmed is the co-founder and COO of the Four Biscuits. Along with his sister Nada Ahmed, Marwan founded the initiative in 2017 to empower people, especially girls with down syndrome through baking.

بما ان كل حاجة حولنا بتتغير بسرعة، فريق الاربع بسكوتات محتاجين نعلن عن قرار مهم اخدناه. بما اننا مهتمين جدا بالناس اللي بتشجعنا فى كل وقت فكان لازم نبلغكم بأهم التطورات الاخيرة فى المشروع. الاربع بسكوتات مش مجرد مبادرة او مشروع انما هو فكرة وحلم كل القائمين عليه مؤمنين به وهيفضلوا مؤمنين به مهما الوقت عدي! للاسف، فى الوقت الحالي قررنا نوقف انشطة المشروع لاسباب غير متعلقة تماما بفيروس كورونا لان القرار ده اتاخد من قبلها بفترة بس كان من الصعب علينا اننا ناخد خطوة الاعلان عنه لاسباب داخلية متعددة. احنا مؤمنين جدا بالشباب والبنات الغير عاديين اللي بدأنا معاهم وبالناس اللي ساندتنا في كل مراحل المشروع المختلفة وعشان كدة لازم نقدم الافضل والافضل وبس! عشان كجة كمان قررنا ناخد هدنة نفكر في النقاط الايجابية والسلبية واحنا كلنا عزيمة اننا نبدأ مغامرة جديدة قريب!
اولا وقبل كل حاجة، نحب نشكر البنات والشباب الرائعين صبا، يحي، شريهان، نادين، مريم، منة اللي كانوا مصدر طاقة المشروع ده فى كل وقت، والاعضاء المؤسسين مروان وندى احمد ونوار وشيرين سالم اللى صدقوا فى المشروع ده من اول دقيقة ونشكر معطي عمر علي حماسه ومجهوده. ولازم نشكر اهالي الفريق كله اللي فتحوا بيوتهم للمشروع من اول لحظة. ونحب نشكر كمان المؤسسات اللي ساندت الفكرة وامنت بيها زى المؤسسة الثقافية الاوروبية ونهضة المحروسة والجمعية المصرية السويسرية لرجال الاعمال وناس تانية كتير!
اخرا وليس اخرا، نحب نشكر كل الناس اللي ساندتنا فى رحلتنا وزبائننا المتميزين اللى تقبلونا فى كل احوالنا اللى من غيرهم الاربع بسكوتات ما كانتش هيكون لها الاسم ده دلوقتي! ونوعدكم اننا هنرجع قريب بالافضل والاقوي. شكرا ليكم!!

Just like everything is changing in these extraordinary circumstances around the world, we, as the Four Biscuits team, need to make an important announcement that was not easy for us. As we deeply care about our support system from customers, to our stakeholders and supporters, we needed to communicate to you our most recent update.
The Four Biscuits was not, for its members and its supporters, only a project or an initiative, it is a dream & a cause that will still be valid, no matter how much time passes. Unfortunately, for the time being, we have decided to momentarily suspend our activities. This decision was taken before the COVID-19 outbreak, due to various internal reasons.
We believed that for our extraordinary bakers and our incredible support system, we needed to provide the best and only the best. And so, we have decided to take a break, reflect on what was done right and what was done wrong, aiming to start a new adventure, soon.
First and foremost, we would like to thank our talented bakers Seba, Sherihane, Yehia, Mariam, Nadine, Menna who have been the fire that drove us all. We would like to thank our four co-founders Nada and Marwan Ahmed, Sherine and Nura Salem, who believed since day one in the beauty of this project, and Motei Omar, our managind director for his passion and efforts. We would like to thank their respective families for opening their homes in the early days, and for being more supportive than ever. We want also to thank all the institutions that have supported the Four Biscuits in its journey European Cultural Foundation, Nahdet El Mahrousa, Swiss Egyptian Business Association (SEBA) and many others.
Last but not least, we would like to thank our incredible customers & supporters, who believed in us, who encouraged us and who loved us inconditionally, without whom this project would not have the name it has today. We promise that we will be back to provide you with the best.
