Sarah has been unanimously elected as an Honorary Life Member of the Hockey Association of Zimbabwe — becoming the youngest ever to receive this incredible honour. From player to technical official and administrator, her dedication to the game has truly set her apart.

She will also remain on the HAZ Board (having previously served as Secretary-General), continuing to play a key role in shaping the future of Zimbabwean hockey.

Here’s to a legacy of excellence and an exciting new chapter for the sport! 👏🇿🇼

رئيس الاتحاد الدولي للهوكي يشيد بتنظيم مصر للبطولة المؤهلة لكأس العالم (رجال) 2026

أشاد رئيس الاتحاد الدولي للهوكي، طيب إكرام، بالتنظيم المميز لتصفيات كأس العالم للهوكي 2026 للرجال، التي أقيمت على ملعب هيئة قناة السويس بمدينة الإسماعيلية خلال الفترة من 1 إلى 7 مارس الجاري، بمشاركة ثمانية منتخبات.

وشدد رئيس الاتحاد الدولي، على أن نجاح البطولة يعكس قدرة الاتحاد المصري على استضافة و تنظيم بطولات الهوكي الدولية بأعلى مستوى من الاحترافية.

وأرسل الاتحاد الدولي للهوكي خطاب شكر إلى الاتحاد المصري للهوكي برئاسة اللواء أشرف فرحات، مؤكدا تقديره للجهود المبذولة في التنظيم، والتعاون الممتاز مع الجهات المحلية وفريق الاتحاد الدولي للهوكي، الذي ساهم في توفير بيئة تنافسية مثالية للمنتخبات المشاركة والجماهير.

وبينما، أعرب اللواء أشرف فرحات رئيس الاتحاد المصري للهوكي وعضو اللجنة الأولمبية المصرية، عن خالص شكره للاتحاد الدولي للهوكي على الثقة في مصر لاستضافة البطولة، ولوزارة الشباب والرياضة على الدعم الكامل، كما توجه بالشكر للسيد / سيف حامد، رئيس الاتحاد الإفريقي للهوكي، والشركة المتحدة للرياضة، ولكافة عناصر الاتحاد المصري على جهودهم الكبيرة في إنجاح البطولة وظهورها بالمستوى المشرف⁩
