Hansi Flick and sporting director Deco personally welcomed him, joined by club executive Joan Soler, and expressed high expectations that he will raise the squad’s quality.

Although the first team was on break, Flick made time to meet Rashford in person after a prior phone conversation. Rashford will take part in his first training sessions under Flick on Tuesday, and the club plans to finalize his signing with president Joan Laporta at Spotify Camp Nou on Wednesday, where he will also address the media. Once official, he is likely to travel with the team on their Asian tour and could make his debut there, depending on his readiness.
