🍇🍅 More Than Just Karate — Meet Our Little Gardener, Mantasha! 🌿🥋

Mantasha is not only dedicated to Karate, proudly holding her Brown Belt (2nd Kyu) 🥋🤎, but she also has another passion — gardening! 🌱💚

Today, she spent some lovely time in the garden, proudly harvesting fresh, home-grown tomatoes 🍅 and admiring the beautiful bunches of grapes 🍇 growing on the vine.

The figs aren’t quite ready yet 🌿, so we’ll patiently wait for them to ripen, while the apples 🍏 continue to grow beautifully.

Whether she is training with discipline and determination in the dojo or caring for her plants with patience and love, Mantasha shows us that dedication can grow in many different ways. ✨

🥋 Strong in Karate.
🌱 Passionate about gardening.
💚 Proud Brown Belt (2nd Kyu).

That’s our wonderful Mantasha! 🤎🌿🥋

A MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS TO ABDULLAH, MANTASHA & Their DAD!

What makes this grading even more remarkable is that we returned to training and grading after a 6-months break, yet all three came back with determination, focus and the drive to give their very best.

🌟 Abdullah — DISTINCTION! 🏆
🌟 Mantasha — MERIT ALMOST DISTINCTION! 👏
🌟 Dad — MERIT, just short of DISTINCTION! 👏

To achieve 2nd Kyu after a SIX month break is a fantastic accomplishment and a true reflection of their hard work, resilience, discipline and commitment.
This wasn't just another grading, it was proof that a break may pause the journey, but it doesn't stop the determination to succeed.

We couldn't be prouder. Congratulations Abdullah, Mantasha & their Dad, what an incredible achievement for the whole family!

The journey continues… next stop, 1st Kyu !!!

We welcomed our champions home the only way a dojo knows how: bows, applause, and that quiet moment where you realize you’re standing in the same room as athletes who refused to break, quit, or back down.Dojo Karate Centre

medals shine, but the people wearing them shine louder. Every bruise, every late-night drill, every drop of sweat showed up with them.

199 medals. One family TheDojo.
Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it.

🥋🔥 To everyone who stood on that world stage and brought glory back to our floor… you didn’t just win. You reminded us why we train.

A Proud Moment for Us and Our Dojo Family 🌟

We’re happy to share our achievements from the November Worlds Martial Arts Games WMAGC, an experience that meant a lot to both of us.

🥇 Abdullah returned with 11 medals (6 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze) and was honoured to receive the title of Most Gold Medal Winner in the senior squad.
🥇 Mantasha got (5 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze), and was named Runner-Up in the junior squad.

Our father, Imran Ishaque, also made us proud by bringing home 2 gold and 1 bronze.

After the championship, we gathered at the Dojo Karate Centre for our official group photo , a simple but meaningful moment for all of us.

Thank you, Hanshi Irfan Ansari, Sensei Jacki Lawrence, Sensei Huseyn Mikayilov, Sensei Natt Dean and Sensei Ishaaq for your guidance, discipline, and constant support. Your training is the reason we were able to perform with confidence and bring these medals home. We are truly honoured to learn under your leadership, and we appreciate everything you have done to prepare us for this journey.

With gratitude,
Abdullah & Mantasha 🥋✨

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Middleton Technology School for recognising and encouraging Abdullah’s incredible achievement at the World Martial Arts Games 2025 in Oslo. 🥋🌍

He worked so hard, competed in 13 categories, and came home with 11 medals

🏅 6 Gold | 🥈 2 Silver | 🥉 3 Bronze

and seeing his school celebrate him made us feel truly proud and grateful.

Your support, kind words, and belief in him mean more than we can say. It’s wonderful to be part of a school community that notices effort, champions ambition, and celebrates students’ successes beyond the classroom.

Thank you for motivating him, uplifting him, and sharing this special moment with us. 💙
