For a president who found a club immersed in debt, long wide and unbreakable contracts for players that they don't deserve at all. It's arguable that Laporta did a relatively good Mercato and why not excellent:
- Got rid of the two highest salaries in the team (Messi and Griezmann) and all attention is directed to Coutinho now since he is the highest salary currently, either cut or leave.
- Supporting the team with a player who has proven his quality since the first round (Depay) with a reasonable salary, waiting for the return of the rest of the free deals (Aguero, Garcia and Luke de Jong)
- He inserted approximately 60 ~ € 70 m into the club's treasuries through many deals pending completion of Atletico's purchase for Griezmann next season so the total is more than 100 million.
- Reducing the salaries of the three leaders.
- Reducing the salaries of both Umtiti and Pjanic, waiting to get rid of them and the rest of the disabilities gradually and at the earliest time.
=> We don't deny that Laporta made many false promises, but for those who rule his mind, he will find that he is right in most of what he did, the team, for example, did not make any achievements in 6 years despite Messi's existence!! What is it? It would be different if Messi stayed this year too?, Not a deficiency from Messi, but the barca of him starting a new era already.
As for the cows, the turn is coming for them, just a beautiful patience 🤌
I also noticed several posts about the Perez shark deception of Alaporta!, Where is Mbappe now? Of course in Paris, it was clear from the beginning that Laporta leaned on Perez and Juve's president to try to press Tebas, the president of Liga, and when the plan didn't work, their meetings ended.
I don't praise Laporta but he has proven success in the past, so it will be difficult to judge early, and hopefully the next is better ✅

What a way to begin the reincarnation of our beloved tiki taka!
Last night was a vintage FC Barcelona performance which rolled back the years for some of us. Nervous at times but we pulled it off. Hats off to Setien for being able to pull it off in just a week of being in charge. And now we are left drooling of what could be if everyone is on the same page and the tactics are drilled in and second nature to the players?
The old guard picked up right where they left off in the Pep era as Busquets, Alba, Messi(frustrating at times) and Pique starred in last night's performance. Griezmann is made for a pressing game and won the ball on multiple occasions. The midfield did good but could've done better. But I wouldn't give them the fault as both Rakitic and Vidal are not considered a fit for tiki taka. Vidal however proved his worth with a cheeky roll back assist as Rakitic left the pitch feeling he could've done more. Imagine what will happen if Arthur and Frenkie joins Busquets in the mid.
One thing is for sure and that is the excitement has returned to Barcelona. The general mood is more positive and the hope for the future is one of optimism.
Setien is here to COLOR FOOTBALL.
Good Day Barcelona fans and football fans alike. We would like to get this page up and running again. Anyone interested in helping with editing can inbox us. Thank you so much.

DISCUSSION!
With the Addition of Frenkie De Jong and possibly Matthijs De Ligt do you guys think we can keep up with our rivals all over Europe next season?
Keep in mind there is a lot happening at our cross country rivals with Real Madrid wrapping up Jovic and Hazard being just a matter of time. There is also talk of Eriksen, Mendy, Pogba coming and perhaps James Rodriguez returning.
Then with Bayern going for Sané, Liverpool getting Fekir and City being City etc. Things look like it could be tough next season.
My personal opinion is us going for a proper back up to Alba and retaining Semedo. Try and keep Dembelé fit and get Coutinho to wake the hell up we should be okay. And a Suarez replacement is a must in this window. After that we should be challenging on all fronts again the new season. We have Messi atleast to make up for the dismal Valverde.
We can only hope for the best!

What worries me about Barcelona this summer is how directionless the club is in terms of sporting planning. Valverde continuing for a third year after a disastrous season might cause more damage than just awful football and play-not-to-lose tactics.
Missing out on Luka Jovic is not a disaster, especially because if Barcelona are to bring a proper coach after Valverde, the striker's playing style wouldn’t fit. Issue here is the board saying for months he would sign, just for the player to refuse. At Real Madrid, he's likely to play alongside Benzema. Will it work? That's up to Zidane to solve.
What's next for Barcelona's biggest signings and main players under Valverde? Arthur is struggling to be fully fit, overweight; Dembélé is also suffering physically. Both of the players are victims of their own indiscipline, is there any doubt that under a hardline coach like Guardiola, Klopp or Pochettino they would be like this?
What's next for Frenkie De Jong, a midfielder that would start for ANY top team in the world and yet, we are here discussing if he will be starting instead of Rakitic? Frenkie said Valverde didn't even talk to him while Guardiola and Tuchel did, it was a miracle he signed with Barça and he might come to regret it.
Good God! It's better to laugh than cry at this point. Does anyone blame De Ligt for having doubts either?
The same can be asked about Suárez, Busquets, and even Messi, who revealed recently he also had fitness issues in 2019. The players should be more attentive to their own health, it's part of the coach's obligations to demand it from his squad. Valverde is simply incapable of demanding what's necessary from his comfortable players.
Valverde is the wrong coach for everything at Barcelona. Messi will hide the problems for 90% of the season because that's what he does, but when Messi doesn't show up, none of the comfortable bubble players behind him will, and then another embarrassment happens.

Perez: I need an update on Project Destruye Barcelona Barto.
Bartomeu: Don't worry boss. We are initiating stage 7 of the plan. Valverde is staying and Rakitic will start next season. Pep Segura is going nowhere and we will make a big name signing so the fans can be contempt and the project can resume. Any suggestions?
Perez: Take someone from Valencia or a player which your club has no position for. You guys dont play with a Second Striker. So sign Griezmann.
Barto: Will do boss. Now excuse me as I need to go hug Messi or Pique before my cover is blown.
Perez: You're forgetting something. . . .?
Barto: Don't worry. I already have offers for the most promising La Masia Talents. We will sell atleast 3 of them.
Perez: Good Boy.
