Ready for a tennis trip that feels like an actual holiday?

Join us in Gran Canaria in February 2027 for the Women’s Sunshine Open. While most of Europe is wrapped in snow or rain, we’ll be playing in the sun.

This is one of those events where everyone gets to play a lot of tennis (think round robins) and spend a lot of time together. Socialising doesn’t end when the matches are over – we’re planning dinners and other social events for all evenings.

Arrive early and participate in a pre-tournament tennis camp! The 5-day camp is a perfect opportunity to improve your game and get into top form for the tournament.

Get ready, GLTA women!

In 2026, the ISTRA PlayOut Tennis Masters in P**a, Croatia will feature women’s draws for the very first time!

Dates: June 12–14, 2026

Here’s what you need to know:

* It’s a Masters Series tournament
* All women’s draws are included
* P**a may not have crazy nightlife…
* …but EVEN BETTER: it makes up for it with some amazing perks: courts right inside the resort (no long commutes!), the sea just steps away for a dip between matches, and a cozy atmosphere to hang out together.

Beyond tennis, P**a is a historic city full of attractions, concerts, culture, and fantastic Mediterranean cuisine. Mid-June temps are usually above 30°C, so it’s perfect for beach time and summer vibes.

GLTA Women Advocates for Better Representation 🎾

GLTA Women is committed to improving diversity and representation within the GLTA Board. To support this, European le****ns have come together and launched a petition advocating for Karolina Czyz to be appointed to the Board.

The response has been overwhelming—over 100 women have signed in support, and the letter of recommendation has now been submitted for consideration. With Karolina on the Board, we look forward to seeing fresh perspectives and stronger representation for le****ns in GLTA.

We also want to express our sincere gratitude to Rowen D’Souza, who has retired from the Board. Rowen’s dedication and contributions to GLTA have been truly appreciated.

This weekend we are looking forward to one of the legendary GLTA tournaments, the Zürich Rainbow Open, known for its strong women’s participation!

The event always promises a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere at the cozy tennis venue, where you can easily spend the entire day socializing, chilling, and, of course, playing lots of tennis. But don’t forget about the Zürich river Limmat — swimming in this river is a must! Some even say it’s more fun than most water parks.
