UPDATE !!! Ryan and Seafra qualify for the Gold Fleet at the 49er European Championships !

Today is the last day of qualifying at the 49er European Championships. There will be a maximum of 3 races and it is all to play for.

Ryan Seaton and Seafra Guilfoyle have had a topsy turvey series so far counting two bullets alongside some results they’ll want to forget. It leaves them just inside the GOLD fleet cut of top 25 but no room for error today.

Ireland also has three development teams competing. Mark Hassett with Oisin O’Driscoll, Robert Dickson with Sean Wadilove and Sean Donnelly with Tadgh Donnelly. All development teams have been targeting Silver fleet qualification at the moment Hassett and O’Driscoll look the most likely to squeeze inside the cut but a good day from the Howth pairing of Dickson and Waddilove could also see them make the cut.
