Ethiopian Taekwondo Federation in collaboration with Oromia Taekwondo Federation organized a seminar and Dan test in Bable city.።

The Ethiopia Taekwondo Federation is currently conducting a professional capacity-building training and support monitoring program in Hosanna City, Central Ethiopia.

The program was officially launched with a vibrant opening ceremony attended by the Head of the Central Ethiopia Sports Sector, Mr. Seyfedin Alemu, along with representatives from various government institutions. The event was also honored by the presence of the President of the Ethiopia Taekwondo Federation, Sabom Abera Milkesa, and the Executive Committee Member, Sabom Kedir Ahmedin.

The opening program began with a keynote address delivered by Mr. Seyfedin Alemu, Head of the Central Ethiopia Sports Sector. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of such initiatives in strengthening sports development within the region.
In his statement during the program, Federation President Sabom Abera Milkesa highlighted that members of the Ethiopia Taekwondo Federation in this region have demonstrated strong performance in previous competitions, securing second place twice at regional championship levels. He further noted that the region has a large and growing number of Taekwondo enthusiasts and followers.

Additionally, the President stated that the region is home to more than 50 legally recognized members of the Ethiopia Taekwondo Federation, reflecting the strong foundation and potential for further growth.

As part of the program, the Ethiopia Taekwondo Federation provided sports equipment support to the region. The support was officially handed over by the Federation President to the Head of the Central Ethiopia Sports Sector, Mr. Seyfedin Alemu.

In response, Mr. Seyfedin Alemu expressed his deep appreciation and sincere gratitude to the Ethiopia Taekwondo Federation for the valuable support and continued cooperation.

የኢትዮጵያ ቴኳንዶ ፌዴሬሽን በማእከላዊ ኢትዮጵያ በኦሳና ከተማ የሙያ ማሻሻያ ስልጠና እና የድጋፍ ክትትል በመስጠት ላይ ይገኛል፣

በዚህም ፕሮግራም ላይ የማዕከላዊ ኢትዮጵያ የስፖርት ዘርፍ ሀላፊ አቶ ሰይፈዲን አለሙ እንዲሁም በዘርፉ ላይ ያሉ የመንግሥት አካላት በተገኙበት በተጭማሪም የኢትዮጵያ ቴኳንዶ ፌዴሬሽን ፕሬዚዳንት ሳቦም አበራ ሚልኬሳ እንዲሁም የኢትዮጵያ ቴኳንዶ ፌዴሬሽን ስራ አስፈፃሚ ሳቦም ከድር አህመዲን በተገኙበት በደማቅ የመክፈቻ ፕሮግራም ተጀምሯል

በፕሮግራሙ መክፈቻ ላይ የማዕከላዊ ኢትዮጵያ የስፖርት ዘረፍ ሀላፊ አቶ ሰይፍዲን አለሙ ባደረጉት ንግግር ተጀምሯል ፣ የኢትዮጵያ ቴኳንዶ ፌዴሬሽን ሳቦም አበራ ሚልኬሳ በፕሮግራሙ ላይ ባቀረቡት መግለጫ በዚህ ክልል ያሉት የኢትዮጵያ ቴኳንዶ ፌዴሬሽን አባላት ከዚህ በፊት በተደረጉ ውድድሮች ሁለት ጊዜ የክልል ሻምፒዮና ላይ ሁለተኛ በመውጣት ጥንካሬውን ያሳየ ክልል ሲሆን ከዚ በተጨማሪም በክልሉ በርካታ ቴኳንዶ አፍቃሪዎች እና ተከታዮች ይገኙበታል! በዚህም ክልል የኢትዮጵያ ቴኳንዶ ፌዴሬሽን ከ50 በላይ ህጋዊ እውቅና የተሰጣቸው አባላት እንዳሉት ተናግረዋል!

በዚህም መርሀግብር ላይ የኢትዮጵያ ቴኳንዶ ፌዴሬሽን ለክልሉ ያመጣውን የቁሳቁስ ድጋፍ በፌዴሬሽኑ ፕሬዚዳንት አማካኝነት ለክልሉ የስፖርት ዘርፍ ሀላፊ ለአቶ ሰይፈዲን አለሙ አበርክቷል! የስፓርት ዘርፈ ሀላፊው አቶ ሰይፈዲን አለሙ ለተደረገላቸው ድጋፍ ላቅ ያለ ምስጋናቸውን አቅረበዋል !

On the occasion of the New Year 2026, I would like to extend my sincere greetings and best wishes to ITF Headquarters in the Republic of Korea, to all ITF members living abroad, and especially to the President and Vice President of ITF Headquarters Korea for their continued leadership and support.
While this period does not mark the New Year in Ethiopia, we respectfully share in the spirit of renewal, unity, and progress with our international ITF family.
