Ville reports back on his participation in Saturday's VI SuperCup Open in Harjavalta:
"I decided to join the VI SuperCup Open in Harjavalta since it happened to be right along my holiday route to Turku. The tournament had 28 players split into 4 groups of 7, with the top four from each group advancing.
The group stage was tough for me. 5 draws and 1 loss, leaving me with just 5 points. I was able to put up a great fight against the top players, but then gave away a few easy points to players I should've beaten. I ended up tied on points with Jarno from Karhumölkky, but thanks to small points in our head-to-head match, I grabbed the final playoff spot, even though I was pretty sure I was already out!
The playoffs were played as best-of-three. With the group stage behind me, I had zero pressure facing the top seed from another group, and my game just clicked. Played really well and advanced with a clean 0–2 win. Same story in the next round: another 0–2 victory to reach the top 4! Over those four sets, I missed only a single throw.
In the semifinals, Tauno Toukola beat me 2–1 after a tight battle. In the deciding set, I actually had a shot at 10 meters to finish the game and secure a place in the finals, but just missed it. By the bronze match, I had run out of steam and lost 3–1, my energy was completely drained after that intense semifinal.
All in all, it was a great tournament despite leaving a bit of hunger on the table, and it’s actually my best personal ranking in any tournament so far! In two weeks, I’ll continue alongside Jarmo and Riku at SikaMölkky in Mahlu to play in our rehearsal tournament before the main event of the season: the World Championship organized by Terassimölkky."

The final rounds of the Mölkky European Championship wrapped up yesterday in Nottingham, and what a ride it was for Terassimölkky!
We fought our way through the first two playoff rounds, pushing through some incredibly intense and thrilling games to reach the Quarterfinals. There, we faced the ultimate tournament champions, Sformatowana Dwunastka from Poland, who proved to be just a bit too tough to crack this time.
This brings our final European Championship ranking to 5th place. While it’s always a bit bittersweet to fall just short of the podium, we have every reason to celebrate: this is officially Terassimölkky’s best-ever result in both European and World Championship history!

We are thrilled to announce that the official tournament management and results software for the Mölkky World Championship 2026 will be Molkkify.app! 🏆📱
Many players already know and love this fantastic system from last year’s World Championship in Poland. It is incredibly user-friendly, allowing players to enter match results directly from their phones, updating the tournament brackets in real-time for everyone to follow!
We are extremely grateful for this international cooperation and the opportunity to use a proven, smooth, and highly efficient platform to guarantee a world-class tournament experience in Helsinki.

Ville, Riku, and Jarmo headed out to compete in Mahlu Open XX, the traditional open singles championship tournament, held at the Mahlu Mölkky Arena. While they didn't bring home any podium finishes this time, they definitely walked away with a massive amount of valuable experience against a tough field of single players. Back to practice, and on to the next one!

With only about a week left until the Mölkky European Championship 2026 kicks off in Nottingham, the excitement is definitely building. We ended up in Pool 8, which looks like a fantastic international group. It is going to be an absolute pleasure to share the fields with both familiar faces and new opponents from across Europe.
We can't wait to get the games started. See you all in Nottingham!

Terassimölkky järjestää torstaina 9.7. Mölkkyturnauksen Superterassilla ja panokset ovat kovemmat kuin koskaan: voittajatiimille on luvassa ilmainen pääsylippu loppuunmyytyihin Mölkyn MM-kisoihin, jotka pelataan Käpylän liikuntapuistossa 14.–16.8. Paikalle on saapumassa yli 500 joukkuetta yli 20 maasta!
Superterassin turnaus on tarkoitettu ensisijaisesti pelaajille ja joukkueille, jotka EIVÄT vielä ole ehtineet ilmoittautua MM-turnaukseen. Kerää siis tiimi kasaan ja tartu viimeiseen oljenkorteen!
