Our FinBangla Cricket Tournament 2026 journey ends in the Quarterfinals, but we leave with our heads held high and countless memories to cherish.

Reaching the quarterfinals for the first time in is a milestone that reflects the hard work, dedication, and unity of every player, and well-wisher of Savon Royals Cricket Club.

We are also incredibly proud to receive the Fair Play Award, a recognition of our sportsmanship, respect, discipline, and the true spirit of cricket throughout the tournament. This achievement is just as special to us as our performance on the field.

Congratulations to Malmi Supernova on becoming the back to back FinBangla 2026 Champions, and congratulations to Nordic Capitals for finishing as the Runners-up. Wishing both teams continued success. Thanks to Team Jyväskylä organising such a nice tournament and made the summer full of joy and memories.

Day 1 of FIN Bangla 2026 – Main Round

A memorable start to our FIN Bangla 2026 Main Round campaign!

In our first match, Savon Royals fought hard in a thrilling contest against Kamppi Knight Riders, falling just 15 runs short after a competitive performance. It was a true neck-to-neck battle that showcased the team’s fighting spirit.

We bounced back strongly in our second match with a commanding 94-run victory over Pasila Vikings, proving our determination and teamwork.

With these performances, we are now very close to qualifying for the Round of 16—a milestone that would mean so much to us and would be our first time reaching this stage.

Savon Royals is committed to promoting cricket in Kuopio and bringing together the Bangladeshi community and cricket lovers across Finland through sports, friendship, and teamwork.
