September is settling in and the lake has shifted into a different gear. After August's feeding frenzy the fish have regained their weight and are starting to wise up a little. 😄 Harder to fool, more cautious but that's what makes every capture this time of year feel even more earned. 💪

Jeff and his mates know this lake inside out though and it showed. A few lovely fish on the mat to round off their season in style. 🙏

🎣 Mason, Dave & Jayden : back at Legendia on a mission.

Some anglers come back with unfinished business. These three had fire in their eyes from day one. 😤

🏆 Dave got his hands on BIG ALI. Enough said. 👑

🏆 Mason came back chasing his own record: a 46lb capture with CAMELOT on his last visit. This time? LOKI at 46lb. Equalised to the ounce. 😄

Two different fish. Same weight. Both absolute Legendia legends. Sometimes the lake has a sense of humour. 😏

CAMELOT & LOKI — two of the most iconic fish in the water. Mason knows how to pick them. 👌

🏆 Jayden had a brilliant week too : a gorgeous 43lb 8oz mirror and a stunning 39lb common absolutely packed with potential. One to watch in the coming seasons. 👀

Brilliant session lads. Well done to all three of you. 🙏

🎣 Mid August : some faces the lake knows very well.

Some anglers just belong at Legendia. The fish probably recognised them before they even set up their rods. 😄

A lovely session with some memorable captures along the way : LOKI, THE CLAW, PETRA JUNIOR and BIG ALI all making an appearance. 👑

🎣 Ricky & the lads : what an absolute week.🤩

A few weeks back and honestly one of those sessions you dream about. The fish were fully switched on and clearly making up for lost time after the summer heat, packing the pounds back on and feeding hard. 💪

30+ fish on the bank. A few lost along the way too but that's what happens when the lake is going mad. 😄🔥

THOR. THE CLAW, Petra Junior And a very special mention AURORA. What a fish. 😍

Well done lads! that's a session to remember. 🙏

🎣 Colin, Jane, Vinnie & Erica: early August and Legendia delivered!

A brilliant week with some lovely fish on the mat... but one capture that topped them all. 👑

HULK. 53lbs 10oz. Summer weight, post heatwave, and still an absolute beast. Jane was the lucky one and something tells us she won't be forgetting that one in a hurry. 😤🙌

THE MUTANT showed up too, always good to see him. 😄

And some great news, after a tough summer heat wise, the fish are already showing some really promising weight gain over the last few days. Autumn is going to be something very special. 🍂👀

We're also sharing a few shots from Simon's session — including PETRA JUNIOR at 45+. 😍

🐱 Meet the newest members of the Legendia family!

Say hello to LUNA & XENA — our two new legendary warriors who have officially taken over the lake. 👑😄

Already making themselves at home... a little too much at home if we're honest. Don't be surprised if you find them curled up in your bivvy at 3am. You've been warned. 😂

A huge thank you to Colin, Jane, Vinnie and Erica for capturing these little ladies on camera this week — we love that you love them already. 🙏🥰

We absolutely adore them. Legendia just got a little more... furry. 🐾

🎣 Some weeks the lake has its own agenda.

Plenty of action but it felt like every 30+ in the lake decided to show up while the 40+ quietly took the week off. 😄

The extended heat has naturally taken a little off the bigger fish weight-wise, totally normal after a summer like this one. They'll be back to their best as soon as the temperatures drop and the feeding picks up properly again. Autumn is going to be very interesting. 👀🍂

In the meantime the smaller fish are absolutely loving the warm water and making the most of it. 😄

🌡️ A summer that started early and a lake that's holding up beautifully.

Since May, the heat has barely let up and the rain has completely disappeared. But Legendia is lucky: fresh water comes in regularly and the water level has stayed perfect. The fish are healthy and doing well. 🙏

That said, an extended heat wave like this is unusual and it does affect activity. The fish feed in shorter windows, less predictably... but when they do go on the munch, anything can happen. 😏

Case in point - THE KEY at 48 lbs. One of our absolute favourites and honestly one of the most stunning fish in the lake. What a capture. 😍🔑

🎣 A little late but worth the wait — end of June & first week of July at Legendia.

Extreme heat, tough conditions and fish doing exactly what they want. 🌡️😅

But Legendia always finds a way. Around ten 40+ fish on the bank across those two weeks: not bad at all when the mercury is pushing the limits. More to come from the summer sessions very soon. 👀
