Yeees… 😻😽

What If Pregnancy rewired your future?
Today is the day you can choose to do things differently.
Pregnancy is a profound invitation to wholeheartedly adopt adulthood, tenderly stepping into parenthood with intention and seriousness. By committing to self-development and prenatal education, you lovingly honor the tiny life growing within, breaking cycles of unhelpful behaviors to create a nurturing, safe space for thriving.
Why maturity matters
Adulthood during pregnancy means reflecting deeply on your patterns, questioning inherited habits that no longer serve you or your child. This gentle self-awareness, rooted in evidence-based pregnancy guidance, lets you release generational baggage, fostering emotional resilience, maternal well-being, and a warm, present heart.
Breaking the cycle
Envisioning yourself as a parent sparks transformation: identify non-supportive behaviors, seek emotional support in pregnancy, and cultivate mindfulness with kindness toward yourself. This shift ensures your little one inherits love, stability, and confident motherhood instead of old wounds.
Creating the ideal cocoon
Prioritize a protective environment through appropriate nutrition, restorative rest, gentle exercise, practical pregnancy wisdom, and joyful bonding. Your tender dedication models strength, offering prenatal support and upliftment for their earliest moments in early motherhood, because thriving starts with your conscious, caring choice to evolve.

Most of the time, we go through life searching for miracles outside of us.
I know this so well, because I used to be one of those people, until a miracle started growing inside me and I gave birth. Since then, I haven’t seen any greater miracle than that.
Who knew that we could create the most beautiful miracle of all: LIFE.
Prenatal education and practical pregnancy wisdom are not just “nice extras”; they are gentle tools that help you understand what your body is doing and support your maternal well-being while this miracle grows inside you.
So when pregnancy feels heavy, hard, and exhausting, remember this: your body is not failing you, it is working incredibly hard. You are brewing your miracle, cell by cell, heartbeat by heartbeat, step by step toward confident motherhood.
Keep going. Your effort, your patience, your tears, your love—they all matter.
Keep up the good work, even on the days you doubt yourself; every moment of care you offer yourself now is an investment in your well-being and in the little life you’re bringing into the world.
From my heart to yours,
Sybile-Astrid

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
May this new year be healthy, gentle on your heart, and full of joyful movement and precious moments with the people you love.
In a time when everyone is busy writing long lists of resolutions, remember: you do not need to change everything to move forward.
All it takes is one simple first step toward your well‑being, one short walk, one nourishing meal, one moment to breathe.
Be gentle with yourself, celebrate how far you’ve already come, and trust that small, loving actions will lead you to big changes.
Wishing you a year of stronger bodies, calmer minds, and hearts that feel held and supported. 💫

Hidden poison in the nursery: Why painting during pregnancy needs extra care
Many parents-to-be use the holidays to prepare the nursery, but painting can hide risks even with modern water-based paints. These paints may still release VOCs and solvents, which especially in poorly ventilated rooms can affect pregnancy wellness and prenatal health.
High or prolonged exposure has been linked to increased risks for miscarriage, some birth defects, and later health issues for your baby, though light exposure with good ventilation is generally low risk for a healthy mama healthy baby.
Pregnant women may feel headaches, nausea, or dizziness from fumes, and physical strain from painting can add extra stress to your motherhood journey. Sanding old paint or using spray paint is especially risky and should be avoided for a calm pregnancy.
Ask a loved one or professional to help with the painting so you can minimize exposure and prioritize pregnancy self care. Choose low- or zero-VOC paints, ventilate well, take breaks, and stay out of freshly painted rooms for 3 days.
It’s more than okay to put yourself first: your well-being is key to your baby’s health. Listen to your body, set boundaries, and let others step in so you can rest and feel safe as a supported mama to be.

Christmas, a big family dinner…
And there it is: the most awkward plate of the evening.
Fresh oysters. In front of me. From our farm. And I am secretly pregnant.
Everyone is cheering, “Come on, they’re super fresh, you have to try!”
And I’m sitting there thinking:
Do I pretend I suddenly don’t like oysters?
Do I say I’m “not in the mood”?
Or do I just tell them I’m pregnant right now at the table?
Here’s the thing:
Yes, oysters can be healthy in pregnancy – if they’re fully cooked. They’re rich in protein, zinc, iron, vitamin D and omega‑3s, all helpful for a healthy pregnancy, baby’s brain and childhood development.
But raw oysters can carry germs and in pregnancy the immune system is weaker, so the impact on mother and baby can be bigger, even if the chance is very small with fresh oysters. Choosing cooked options is one of those small mindset support decisions that protect both your body and your baby.
So even though I’m married to an oyster man. I didn’t eat them.
Not because our oysters aren’t good.
But because in pregnancy, my rule is simple: if there is any avoidable risk, I let it pass. I’d rather disappoint a plate of oysters than take a chance with my baby – that’s my version of evidence‑informed guidance and gentle prenatal support for myself.
If you’re pregnant this Christmas and facing the same situation, you can: Say you only eat oysters when they’re hot and cooked (grilled, baked, steamed). Ask for another starter and keep your news private a little longer.
Remember: you don’t owe anyone an explanation about what’s on your plate – your nervous system regulation and sense of safety matter more than social pressure in early motherhood and beyond.
Fish and seafood can be a beautiful part of a pregnancy diet when chosen and prepared safely: well‑cooked, good‑quality seafood and no raw or undercooked.
This kind of simple, down‑to‑earth motherhood support helps you care for your body, your baby, and the foundations of secure attachment as your pregnancy journey unfolds.
Merry Christmas 🤶 🎄 to all of you !

👩🍼➡️🎥 Yesterday I got a beautiful surprise: Facebook invited me to become a creator.
My first thought was not about algorithms or bonuses, but about you: the women walking through pregnancy, exhaustion, fear, hope and love, often all in the same day.
I didn’t start sharing to “be a creator”. I started sharing because pregnancy changed me and showed me how much we all need practical pregnancy wisdom, emotional support in pregnancy, and honest conversations about what is really happening inside our bodies and hearts.
No one prepares us enough for the emotional, physical and mental earthquake that these 9 months can be.
We deserve clear prenatal education, tools to stay centered during pregnancy, and guidance for physical and mental well-being during pregnancy so daily life feels more manageable.
Motherhood doesn’t “start” at birth. It grows slowly through every kick, every sleepless night, every worry, and every small act of grounded motherhood and maternal well-being.
This is where confident motherhood begins not in perfection, but in awareness, support and compassion for ourselves. And the journey doesn’t stop at birth. Postpartum adjustment, nurturing the mother–child bond, and rebuilding our identity as women and mothers are all part of this sacred transition. If this new creator path helps even more women feel seen, informed and supported during pregnancy and early motherhood, then it’s a “yes” for me.
If you want a gentle, structured companion for this journey, let Thrive Through Pregnancy https://a.co/d/eqONlmO be your proven guide to caring for your body, mind and emotions during these nine months and beyond.

Who’s the real teacher here?
We often think we are the ones teaching our children.
But think again…
Who’s waiting nine months to show their face?
Who’s knocking day and night inside mama’s belly?
Who’s draining her energy, shifting her hormones, reshaping her world, one heartbeat at a time?
From the very beginning, babies make us grow, whether we choose it or not.
They teach us patience.
They test our limits.
They push us to manage fatigue, discomfort, emotions, and a whole new sense of responsibility.
And when people say:
“You’ve changed.”
“You’re not the same person anymore.”
“We don’t see you like before.”
That’s what happens when we meet our greatest teachers.
If you want to understand this transformation on a deeper level and learn how to care for your body, mind, and emotions during these nine sacred months, let Thrive Through Pregnancy be your proven guide book. Available on amazon https://a.co/d/eqONlmO
