A day well spent.

Yesterday, we came together in the Chouf as part of the LFC Foundation Social Action Challenge (in conjunction with Japan Airlines).

We planted 15 pine trees, enjoyed some time in nature, got on the bikes, and most importantly, had a great day together.

Big thank you to everyone who joined and helped make it happen, and to Green Orient for making the day possible.

Proud of what we did together.

Alexander Isak is to return to Liverpool from international duty due to a minor injury.

He will now be assessed by club medical staff at the AXA Training Centre.

Isak: "You can see it..." he says, looking down at his bloody toe.

"It was a heavy stamp. Those of you who have played might know that it takes a few minutes for the pain to subside, but it was okay."

Former Liverpool co-owner George Gillett passes away aged 87, after battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Gillett was the co-owner of the Reds following the takeover of the club with Tom Hicks in 2007.

The pair owned the Premier League giants before cashing in to John Henry’s New England Sports Ventures in October 2010.

Thoughts with his family and loved ones.

Alexander Isak on Andoni Iraola:

“He asks me to be part of the defending but to defend in positions where, when we win the ball, we can counter quickly and get the ball forward to the offensive line. He said 'score goals', but he wants me to defend. The way we defend - we defend to score goals so defending, in the end, is an attacking weapon.” 🇸🇪
