The 2022 British Open Speedgolf Championship was an amazing adventure! 🏃🏼♀️⛳️🇬🇧
I finally broke the 1 hour mark with 58’53’’ on day one and my golf is slowly improving as well.
Thank you for organising this great event and for bringing the speedgolf community together ! 🙏🏻
A big merci to all the volunteers, and the brilliant greenkeepers, the course was in perfect shape for us!👌🏻
Congratulations & Merci of course to all the speedgolfers who competed, everyone helped out in one way or another to make this happen, hope to see you all again soon!

Guess what’s in the bag! 😎
I have recently been called the ‘One Club Wonder’ 🤩 Well, I am still working on the ‘Wonder’ part 😅 but I love it so, sure, why not!
Anyway, there is a little extra in the bag, because. . . this weekend we’ll all be playing off the same tees. Which is a mix of white, yellow, blue and red. 9 of them are white actually. . . 😬 So I guess I might need more distance here!
I have played the course before, but it was from the red tees and I don’t really know what to expect now.
The course layout at The Springs has been optimised for this weekend’s 2022 British Open Speedgolf Championship, hence the specific changes.
I’ll figure it out on the practice round later today! 💪🏻

First flight since 2019 😅 Yeay!! 🤩
So, we made it to Ireland, more specifically. . . I have met up with Kathy at Dublin airport, we then picked up the professor on the way and have arrived at Golf & Leisure Resort in Tipperary County.
That is where is hosting the Speedgolf Irish Open 2022! 🏃🏼♀️⛳️🇮🇪

Wow, it’s already been a whole month since the Swiss Speedgolf Open 2022! 🏃🏼♀️⛳️💥
It took me a while to recuperate and tbh although I didn’t train much since then because it’s simply been too hot and I was too busy, I do feel super excited for the speedgolf tour to continue next month! 🤗
Can’t wait to see everyone, we’ll have a blast! 💥💥

Yup, another practice round. . . 😅
Tomorrow morning we’ll be at on the orange combination for round 2 of the Swiss Speedgolf Open 2022! 🏃🏼♀️⛳️💥
They have 4 x 9 hole courses, so we’ll play a combo of two of them, blue & yellow.
The tricky part is that the order is a bit mixed up (eg the yellow hole 4 is the orange hole 9), hope I’ll get all that right.

Practice round for the Swiss Speedgolf Open 2022 🏃🏼♀️⛳️💥
The 1st round will take place tomorrow morning right here at the beautiful Erlen Golfclub 😊
There are quite a lot of steep hills, up as well as down 😅 will be fun to run and play!
ps: This great view is from the teebox of hole 17 where the pros tee off. I will be playing from further down to the left where I can properly see the green 😅 (btw the bunker you can see here is already across the road on a different hole)
