It's the final push for the Allied advance of Martin and Caryl into Paris. 71miles today we've been told we need to be the last group to leave this morning so we all hit Paris at the same time think people are starting to realise we've been ripping up the French asphalt !!! It may well get rather emotional when we hit the Plas de Concorde and swing right onto the Champs Élysées where a boyhood dream will be realised !!!!

Wowzers, that was a really hot one !!!! A strong hot southerly head wind all day, with a kicker of a climb at the end that was spanked right out the park. Again we rode in 6-7 today despite starting a whole hour to hour n half after everyone else, felt really strong in the second half and we tanked it in hard to the hotel !!!! Viva Le London to Paris !!!!!

At the last water stop and its roasting !!! Only 17miles to go but there is a long twisting climb before the decent into Compiegne and then it's a well deserved cold shower !!!

Absolutely awesome ride !!! Tough first half with some long hard climbs then it was rolling French countryside for the second 45 miles. We thought we were up in the top 20 but on arrival to the hotel I was the SIXTH person to have finished !!! To say I'm buzzing is an understatement !!! We smashed that one out the park !!!!
