WHAT’S POSSIBLE IN 8 WEEKS OF COACHING? ✹

I know that you are sitting on your fitness and strength goals right now.

Even though you desperately want to change your physique, it’s summer in Paris and you’re wondering if you really have the time, capacity or motivation to start.

If you asked me when the best time to actually start is, I would tell you this.

In the last 8 weeks, C has:

Worked long days that often roll into the evenings.
Been on multiple weekends away, for work and for fun.
Had heart-wrenching news that impacted her family and friends.

That’s a genuine lack of time, capacity and motivation.

But do you know what? C got her workouts in before going to work, meaning she had done something for herself no matter what the work day then threw at her.

She planned ahead for weekends away, ticking the boxes beforehand so she could have more freedom after.

And most impressively, she didn’t use difficult, frankly devastating circumstances as an excuse to fall off. As you can see from her last message, she used it as drive to keep showing up for herself, both mentally and physically.

C spends her days biking across the city and is a social butterfly, yet she has managed to compound good day after good day and the results speak for themselves.

So no, there isn’t a best time to start.

But like C, no matter what is thrown at you, we’ll work through it together. And you’ll probably come out the other side stronger, physically and mentally.

Because you don’t have to be perfect. But you do have to start.

I’m proud of C and this is only the beginning.

I’ll be proud of you once you join my 1:1 coaching team, message the word ALIVE to enquire and yes, now is the right time.

HOW TO MANIPULATE YOURSELF INTO LOVING EVERY PART OF YOUR BODY ✹

Except there is no manipulation, there is only learning to love yourself. And not necessarily for what you look like.

When I tell you I know exactly how it feels to look in the mirror, fixate on a certain body part, to the point where you don’t even want to leave the house

The worst thing is, I adore fashion. But I spent years with a wardrobe full of clothes that I didn’t want to wear.

I know exactly how it feels to spend hours trying on different outfits, getting more and more exasperated with yourself, only to pick the thing that covers you up the most.

Or not leave the house at all.

This was how I felt for the majority of my 20s. Whether I was 90kg or whether I was 65kg
I just fu***ng hated my arms.

But the problem was never how much I weighed or my body fat percentage. The problem was that I was severely under muscled and not just in my arms.

Now, I love my arms, no matter the phase of life I’m in. and yes, it helps that I have some definition now.

But more importantly? I love my arms because of what they can do. The beautiful thing about lifting weights and the pursuit of more muscle is you become fixated on what your body can do.

And not what it looks like. It does of course look better as a byproduct

Your self-worth is not what your body looks like. It’s what it can do. And every body reading this should be lifting weights, ok? Fall in love with the process, the results will come quickly and before you know it, you’ll be obsessed with yourself.

Take it from me, someone who now wears everything she owns â€ïžâ€đŸ”„

CLIENT WINS OF THE WEEK ✹

Okay, it's not always like this. And that's why I'm a particularly proud coach this week.

Four of my clients had an incredibly productive week with regards to fat loss. And I could have included a couple more in this carousel...

Why have these results suddenly come in?

Because they've been working towards it for weeks.

Hannah has been my client for 16 weeks now.
Constanza for 9 weeks.
Lina for 8 weeks.
Alexandre for 3 weeks.

Each week I have shared the little moments, the daily wins that lead up to this moment. The moment that the scale finally reflects the hard work that's been put in.

Fat loss isn't immediate. It take time, it takes hard work, it takes looking yourself in the eye and admitting that you really want it and that you're willing to change.

Like I said, I'm really proud of these four. I'm not the kind of coach that sends a 5-minute voice note once per week. I'm the kind of coach that's in your back pocket, building your new routine, making sure that it clicks and actually works for your life.

I'll call you out when you're not doing enough, sure. I've had difficult conversations with each of these humans over the course of working together.

Because I'm deeply invested in their journeys.

If you keep stalling on your own, maybe you need me in your back pocket, too. I'll fit into the rest of your life quite seamlessly, promise.

STUPID S**T THAT I’VE SEEN ONLINE THIS WEEK ✹

Is it finally time to say goodbye to the Pilates princess movement?!

Fashion almost always reflects popular culture. And you probably also felt the shift away from lifting and towards a softer way of moving your body last year.

You might have even been thinking about joining the gym while your feed slowly filled up with posts pushing a soft girl aesthetic and a sports bra that quite frankly is not made for performance

As a member of the big yiddy committee, that last one infuriates me 😂

But I completely understand that when it feels like everyone is doing one thing, it’s hard to do the opposite.

If you’re a seasoned lifter, let’s hope that the tide is changing.

If you never got started in the gym, hear this:

Lifting is essential. Do what you like alongside it but every woman needs to lift.

Being strong isn’t a trend or an aesthetic. It’s a lifestyle.

If you’re a newbie in the gym or a veteran like me, comment gym gobelin below. Let’s assemble đŸ€ŒđŸ»

And of course, if you don’t know where to start and you don’t want a Pilates princess telling you how to get stronger, the link is in my bio to be coached by me đŸ«¶đŸ»
