Barcelona is here again! ✨💫

This February, we’re returning to the Gran Teatre del Liceu for a weekend of extraordinary voices, Wagnerian drama and some of opera’s most powerful music.

🔥 Experience the mythic and unsettling world of Wagner’s Das Rheingold in Tobias Kratzer’s striking staging, with Nicholas Brownlee , Tanja A. Baumgartner and Bo Skovhus bringing the birth of power—and its corruption—to life.

❤️ And hear the extraordinary Sondra Radvanovsky Fan Club in recital, exploring the passion, vulnerability and sheer dramatic power of bel canto and Verdi, alongside music by Puccini, Donizetti and Bellini.

Thanks so our partner club Fondazione Milano per la Scala we are very excited to welcome you back to another Anteprima. This year’s programme opens on Friday, December 4th, with *Otello*, one of Giuseppe Verdi’s final masterpieces. The start cast includes Luca Salsi, Eleonora Buratto and Brian Jagde 🕯️

🍷 After the performance, we will have dinner at the Grand Hotel et de Milan, a venue that is deeply connected to Verdi’s own story (his Milanese home for nearly three decades and where he spent his final days).

⚜️On Saturday, we visit the ADI Design Museum and enjoy lunch at LOM Dopolavoro before participating in a guided visit to the Monumental Cemetery, the resting place of some of Italy’s most distinguished figures.

🤹‍♂️ On Sunday, we travel to Teatro Sociale in Como for a Mascagni/Leoncavallo double bill of verismo masterpieces, *Cavalleria rusticana* and *Pagliacci*.

The age threshold is Under30. We have a limited number of tickets and allocate *not* on a first come first served basis.

🇮🇹 Pesaro, Rossini & the magic of bel canto

Stepping into Pesaro, we found ourselves at the heart of Italian opera, where music, history, and the beauty of the Adriatic came together to celebrate the legacy of Gioachino Rossini in an unforgettable way. 🎶

Over several days, we immersed ourselves in the world of the Rossini Opera Festival, with performances ranging from La scala di seta and Le siège de Corinthe to L’occasione fa il ladro and Il viaggio a Reims.

We also enjoyed a very special evening with the Concerto Flórez30, celebrating 30 years of Juan Diego Flórez on the stage. 🎙️✨

Between performances, we discovered Pesaro at its most charming — its historic streets, beautiful squares, Italian cuisine, and that unmistakable atmosphere of summer by the Adriatic. 🇮🇹☀️

A journey filled with Rossini, bel canto, beautiful venues, great food, and unforgettable moments shared together.

Grazie, Pesaro. Alla prossima! 🤍

🍇🇫🇷 Beaune, music, w**e & summer nights

Our journey to Beaune took us to the heart of Burgundy, surrounded by vineyards, history, and some of the most beautiful settings the region has to offer.

We enjoyed two unforgettable evenings of music in truly unique venues: Handel’s Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno in the magnificent Cour de l’Hôtel-Dieu, and Gasparini’s L’Avare at the Théâtre de Beaune. 🎶

But Beaune was about so much more than music. We wandered through its charming streets, discovered its rich heritage, raised a glass to the exceptional w**es of Burgundy, and enjoyed that perfect French blend of culture, gastronomy, and savoir-faire. 🍷✨

A journey to remember: warm summer evenings, beautiful music, great w**es, and wonderful moments shared together.

Au revoir, Beaune. À bientôt! 🤍

Vienna is coming! 🎶💜

After last year’s spring weekend in Vienna, which saw record attendance, we’re delighted to welcome you back for another weekend filled with opera and ballet 🇦🇹

Immerse yourself in three evenings of extraordinary performances: two at the Wiener Staatsoper, including a ballet featuring choreographies by Balanchine, Wheeldon and Ashton, set to music by Vivaldi, Mozart and Rachmaninov; as well as Mozart’s Don Giovanni. We’ll also return to the Theater an der Wien for a rarely performed opera by Rimsky-Korsakov.

Greetings from Dresden! ☀️

Juvenilians came together to experience a rare opera by Amalie von Sachsen, La fedeltà alla prova Dresdner Musikfestspiele , as well as Giuseppe Verdi’s Aida, a symphony concert by the Staatskapelle Dresden Dresden, and Nino Rota’s Il cappello di paglia di Firenze.

Highlights included a guided tour through the city centre by a true local .aphrodite.walter , endless coffee and cake at the Coselpalais behind the Frauenkirche Dresden, and an acting improv class 👒

The Semperoper truly mesmerized us—we can’t wait to return! ✨

🇨🇭Throwback to the Zurich Youth Summit

What an incredible weekend in Zurich! Europe’s young opera friends came together with local cultural communities from klubZ Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich , the Kunstfreunde Zürich , the Friends of Opernhaus Zürich , and the Friends of Ballet Zurich. 🎶

From Kent Nagano’s inspiring opening at the Tonhalle and exclusive backstage insights at the Opera House—including an apéro with Opera Director Matthias Schulz—to fascinating guided tours at the Kunsthaus Zürich and moving performances of Arabella and Clara, the programme offered unique perspectives on Zurich’s cultural life. 🖼️🥂

Special thanks to Corinne from the Zurich Opera House for championing this initiative, and to everyone who joined us—we are already looking forward to the next one! 🙏
