We hope you’re all as buzzing as we are for next week, the pool draws will be announced on Monday so keep an eye out for those!

Registration is from 9am and we’re hoping to get the first games underway before 10

An important note about licensing- sadly we have been unable to obtain a licence for the University grounds so the consumption of alchohol on the pitches will not be permitted.

Ladies and gentlemen we are extremely pleased to announce that the Aberdeen 7’s tournament is officially back for the first time since 2019 and will be taking place on the 14th of May!

We’re sorry that this announcement is so late but we hope that lots of you will still be able to join us for some serious joué

Team entry will be £85- please email [email protected] asap with:

• Your team name and playing colours
• Lead contact name and contact details (email and phone number)

Once we have your email confirmation we will get back to you with details for payment.

***150th Anniversary ***

Dear Alumni/Current Members,

As you may be aware this year the Aberdeen University Rugby Club is celebrating their 150th Anniversary. A small group of current and previous committee members have been working to organise the Aberdeen University Men’s Rugby Club 150th Anniversary ball. We are pleased to announce that tickets are now for sale and the official invitation has been attached to this email.

The event will include guest speakers and entertainment. As it is difficult to reach every previous member, we would appreciate any help of spreading the word and forwarding the invitation around.

In addition to the evening ball, we are also aiming to have a game of alumni versus current XV on Kings Pitch during the day, however details and confirmation of this will be sent out in due course.

Thank you everyone for coming today. After party tickets will be sold on the door from 10.45pm until midnight. £5 a ticket and we have the first floor to ourselves, the bands get you access to the reserved area and cheaper drinks - otherwise you’ll be paying Saturday prices!

We hope you're all looking forward to the big day. Due to licensing issues there will unfortunately be no bar selling alcohol. We apologise for this but unfortunately it is out with our control.
