This morning reminded me how little we actually need 🫶
space
movement
fresh air
and time away from everything else pulling at us
consistency doesn’t come from doing more - it comes from returning to the basics often enough ✨
Thank you for coming to this months meet up .mcdonald 💜

Hello 👋 Here’s me wishing I was back to hill walking in the sun.
Some things have changed since last summer - some things have not!
I’m still…
coffee, not matcha.
Strength, not Pilates.
Volume eating, not sparrow portions.
Foundations, not fads.
Skinny jeans, not baggy.
I’m now…
Done with over-giving to people and things that don’t give back.
Comfortable saying no if it’s not a full-body yes.
In bed by 8:30 like it’s a non-negotiable.
Rebuilding a nervous system that’s been through it.
Less proving.
More choosing.
Have I missed anything… or are you feeling this too?

Living in a bit of a bubble out here 🤣
But being back in my home town last week reminded me of something…
Weight loss has never been easier.
Drugs. Plans. Quick fixes everywhere.
But keeping it off?
That still requires actual change.
Anyone can get smaller.
Not everyone can stay consistent when life gets busy, energy drops, or their body changes.
That’s why people stay stuck in the stop-start cycle.
It’s not about knowing what to do.
It’s about adapting, sticking, and showing up anyway.
That part?
Most people are still avoiding it.
If you’re done with the stop-start, you know where I am.

I’ve been quiet on here.
Not because I had nothing to say…
But because everything was shifting.
The business.
My body.
My capacity.
What I thought mattered… and what actually does.
There comes a point where you realise you can keep pushing…
Or you can start listening.
And I hit that point.
The years of building, showing up, holding everything together…
while raising kids, caring for others, trying to maintain some version of “peak” in my body and life…
It catches up with you.
And if you’re honest?
It forces you to change.
So this isn’t me “coming back” as I was.
This is me, clearer.
Quieter.
Stronger in a very different way.
If you’re in a season where things don’t quite fit like they used to…
You’re not alone 💜

Ever feel like you know what to do… But something keeps stopping you?
So many women feel this way.
You know what would help.
You’ve read the posts.
You’ve tried before.
Yet something makes you hesitate.
It’s not laziness.
It’s not a lack of willpower.
It’s not because you don’t want it badly enough.
And the reason? Often, it’s actually fear… The quiet kind.
Fear of failing again.
Fear of getting your hopes up.
Fear that this will be another thing that doesn’t last.
So your body protects you and keeps you in familiar patterns.
Not because they’re working - because they feel safer.
If this feels familiar, please hear this: You’re not broken.
You don’t need a harder plan.
You might just need an approach that feels safe enough to return to.
This space is about steadiness, not pressure.
About building trust with yourself, one small return at a time 💜

Here’s the truth…
You don’t need more information.
You need the right steps and support from people who genuinely get you.
Curious if this is for you? Let’s chat.

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘐 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘰? 🙃
I don’t motivate
I don’t chase
I don’t carry grown women through change
I do prescribe, teach skills, and offer clarity and perspective.
I help women 35+ improve strength and confidence, and to gain clarity so they can run their own training and wellbeing without fuss, confusion or extremes.
This is for do-ers. Women who want direction, not hype. Consistency, not perfection. Ownership, not hand-holding.
My role is to give you the plan, the skills and the bigger picture. Your role is to do the work.
VIBE is highly personalised, so I keep numbers intentionally small.
I’ve opened a waitlist for 3 women ready to start in February 2026.
If this resonates — and you’re ready to take responsibility for your progress — join the waitlist by sending me a "👍🏻" emoji.
If not, that’s okay too.

One of the biggest shifts I see in clients?
Food stops being emotional warfare…
and becomes neutral information.
No guilt.
No spirals.
Just self-trust and choice.
That’s not discipline — that’s regulation.

Let’s talk about consistency (𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘵 𝘯𝘰 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴) 💜
Many women aren’t inconsistent because they don’t want it enough.
They’re inconsistent because they’re stuck, simply surviving.
When life "lifes", we subconsciously stay in what feels comfortable.
Not because it’s aligned with our goals, but because it feels safe.
We avoid the uncomfortable.
Even when the uncomfortable is the thing that would help us feel better.
The thing is, when your nervous system is already stretched, anything uncertain can feel like too much - even exercise and better food choices.
Consistency often isn’t about discipline, or motivation.
It’s about moving out of survival mode.
That’s why blips happen.
That’s why returning feels harder than starting.
And that’s why beating yourself up only keeps you stuck.
Consistency isn’t forcing yourself to do more.
It’s gently building safety again through small anchors you can trust.
One workout.
One walk.
Ten minutes.
One supportive meal.
To remind your body it's ok.
The strongest, most resilient women I coach aren’t the ones who feel comfortable all the time. They’re the ones who return — even when it feels a little uncomfortable — with kindness.
If this resonates, tell me: what helps you return after a pause, or what feels hardest when consistency wobbles?

Exercise doesn’t need to be dramatic to be effective.
Short.
Simple.
Repeatable.
Train so you can go again in a few days —
not until you’re exhausted and dreading the next session.
This is how confidence is built.
Quietly. Consistently. Over time.
