A brilliant way to finish off the season tonight as the West End boys took on the parents and coaches! ⚽️

There was plenty of good football on show… and plenty of dodgy football too! 😂 The parents and coaches looked set for victory, but a late comeback from the boys took the game all the way to penalties.

The boys held their nerve and came out on top in the shootout, and it’s safe to say we’ve never seen celebrations like it! 🎉🏆

A fantastic evening full of laughs, great memories, and a reminder of what football is all about. Well done to everyone involved and thanks for a great season! 👏⚽️🔴⚪️

This season, the West End FC 2013s have been rewriting club history, achieving a number of firsts across multiple levels and setting new standards for future generations to follow. The hard work, commitment, and team spirit shown by every player have been nothing short of outstanding.

Now it’s time for a well-deserved break before we get back to work and begin pre-season training. 🔴⚪️

🏆 Back-to-Back Champions! 🏆

West End FC headed to the Mill United Festival today looking to retain the title we won last year, and the boys certainly didn’t disappoint.

The lads enjoyed their football throughout the day, producing some excellent passages of play while also having a few moments where we were caught sleeping. With this being the final games of a long and successful season, it was great to see everyone get plenty of minutes on the pitch.

Today followed a familiar pattern for this group. The boys battled through the group stages, finishing top of the table before heading into the semi-finals, where they really started to build momentum. That confidence carried into the final, where we played some excellent football, created a number of chances and looked the more likely side to break the deadlock.

We thought we’d done just that when we found the net from a corner, only for the goal to be ruled out for a foul in the box. As the clock ticked down, it looked like the festival would be decided by penalties.

Then came the moment of magic.

In the dying moments of the match, the ball dropped kindly to Alfie, who kept his composure and calmly slotted his finish into the corner to secure another trophy for the West End boys! 🏆⚽

A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising such a fantastic event and to all the teams who attended. It’s a long day for players, coaches and families alike, and it was brilliant to see so much quality football, determination and sportsmanship on display despite some very tired legs.

Well done for the 2nd year running to the winners of our 2026 Festival West End FC 2013. After a brilliant day of football, West End faced Broxburn Colts 2013s in the final & grabbed a late goal to win 1-0. 🏆⚽️

2013 ADJFA ‘A’ league Congratulations to Jamie and Kai who won the 2013 ADJFA ‘A’ league title with West End FC and on Saturday past at Cormack Park, the AFC former players cup.
