What a fantastic evening celebrating an incredible 2025/26 season at the Aberfan Under 12s Girls Presentation Night! 🔴⚫️⚽🏆
Tonight was all about recognising the hard work, commitment and development of every single player. Every girl has played her part in making this a season to remember, and we’re so proud of how far they’ve all come.

🔴 Ariana Tudor – Our inspirational captain, fearless, composed and a true leader who continues to develop her all-round game.
⚫️ Betsy Davies – Full of confidence, intelligent movement and a constant attacking threat.
🔴 Caitlyn Jenkins – Brave goalkeeper whose confidence, shot-stopping and distribution have flourished.

What a way to kick off Presentation Day! ⚽💙
This morning saw our annual Parents vs Kids match, and what a game it was! The girls took on their mums and dads in a thrilling encounter that had everything – goals, great saves, plenty of laughs, and maybe a few pulled muscles! 😅
The lead changed hands several times throughout the game, with neither team willing to back down. In the end, it was the youngsters who came out on top with a 7-6 victory, proving that youth (and slightly fresher legs!) just about beat experience.
The parents certainly rolled back the years… although some may have wished they’d left them there! 😂 There were moments of brilliance, moments they’d rather forget, and enough heavy breathing to last until next year’s game!
A huge well done to every single player who took part. Whether you were wearing an Under 12s shirt or pretending you could still sprint like you were 12, everyone gave it their all and made it a fantastic spectacle.
Thank you to everyone who came along to support. This annual tradition never disappoints, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year! 💙⚽

Fantastic day for our U12s Girls at the Lliswery Football Festival today! ⚽👏
The girls were brilliant from start to finish and battled their way all the way to the semi-finals before being narrowly knocked out. Every single player should be proud of their effort, teamwork and attitude throughout the day ❤️
A massive thank you as well to Sienna, Maisie and Lottie from the U11s Girls for stepping in to help us out today — all three were outstanding and played amazingly! 🌟

⚽🔥 What a Night for the Aberfan U13s Girls! 🔥⚽
From the very first whistle, the girls were full of energy and ready to go!
We kicked things off with a fun game of Piggy in the Middle, getting plenty of touches on the ball and lots of laughs along the way. 🐷🐽😄
Next up was our attacking vs defending session, where the focus was all about movement, creating space, and making smart decisions both on and off the ball. The girls worked brilliantly, showing great communication and determination throughout.
To finish the night, we had a competitive game that couldn’t be separated in normal play, meaning there was only one way to settle it… an old school American penalty shootout! 🥅⚡
There were some fantastic finishes, brave goalkeeping, and plenty of excitement from everyone involved. The perfect way to end another brilliant evening of football.
Most importantly, the girls enjoyed every minute, worked hard for each other, and left the pitch smiling. That’s what it’s all about! 🔴⚫️

Another fantastic session for our Aberfan U13s Girls this evening!
Tonight’s training focused on developing key skills including dribbling, ball control, technique, and team play. The girls worked hard throughout the session, showing great effort, determination, and a real willingness to learn and improve.
But more important than any drill, skill, or exercise was the enjoyment on display from start to finish. The laughter, energy, and enthusiasm around the pitch were brilliant to see, and every player left with a huge smile on her face.
Football is about development, teamwork, confidence, and creating memories, and tonight’s session delivered all of that and more.
Well done, girls… Keep working hard, supporting each other, and most importantly, having fun! 🌟⚽

What a brilliant training session with U13 and U12 Girls tonight! ⚽💦
We kicked things off with a little footy game, but the coaches had a surprise up their sleeves... water balloons! 🎈😂
What started as a few sneaky throws quickly turned into an all-out water fight, with every single girl determined to soak the coaches as much as possible! Safe to say, the coaches didn't stand a chance and ended up absolutely drenched! 🤣💧
To top off an already fantastic evening, we finished with a slip and slide that had everyone laughing, sliding, and having the best time. 🌊😁
Football, fun, teamwork, and plenty of water — the perfect way to enjoy training in the sun! Well done girls, your energy and smiles made it a night to remember. ❤️⚽
