💛Katrina is inviting you to her first yoga retreat day.
Having taught yoga for a year now since graduating it felt time to combine my three loves of yoga, sound/voice and nature.

💛This Sunday experience is ideal for anyone, no experience required as the day is adapted to your level.
Some of the practices available this day will be..

-movement medicine to dance and awaken the body
-a hatha (physical) yoga practice integrating breathe and sound, perfect for those that feel self conscious in class as group limited to 7 attendees.
-facing your fears around some postures and preparing yourself the body for inversions and other postures we don’t always give time to in classes
-staying still in restorative postures to deepen the connection within
-morning concludes with Katrina’s Sound Relaxation with bells, bowls and chimes.

🍲 Aftercare light lunch (bring your own). Teas, dark chocolate and nuts will be available.

-We continue with a seated practice to learn some grounding and energy clearing voice sounds
-we progress to a movement routine to support the sounds we make
-a short walk and opportunity to share the sounds and movement outside in nature
-finish with some yoga songs- kirtan, call and response, you can listen or join instead.

🌿Held in the lovely space of Abbey Dore Village hall the day will be assessable, kept simple and nourishing.

❗️You can reduce the cost by £5 by booking and paying early or bringing a friend along, and you both receive a discount.

Dance Blast Abergavenny

Hi, I am a yoga teacher in Wales and Herefordshire.
I graduated in July 2025 and have presently 5 groups set up and cover for another.

Katrina is also owner and therapist at The Nook on Neville Street with many returning clients this is a new era for me in my mid life and I am loving it.

Pandy Hall on Thursdays is a busy class in a large hall and as well as well supported by the locals folk travel in from Abergavenney area, some supporting two classes in a week.

Llandewi Rhydderch is also a growing class and with the support of the community we have three attendees who use chairs and these are integrated into our practice.

Dance Blast is just the best venue for me in Abergavenny presently , it’s warm, clean spacious. Having covered and still subbing in a Wednesday Class there I look forward to this new group growing with a small
group of regular attendees already.

I have a practice I share that has some postures that can be adapted to suit each individual, we are curious and investigate the breath, movement , mind connection. Stability and resilience is encouraged. My regulars appreciate my friendly welcoming presence and ability to go with the flow.

Most classes continue through the holidays in one form or another.

🧘🏼‍♀️ Pandy Hall is where we hold Thursday Yoga at 9.30 am, it’s a lovely bright old fashioned and large space. Today we had folk coming up from Abergavenney and Llanover as well as the core Pandy group.

You just see the sign over the hedge. 😍Pandy Hall is only just up the road from Abergavenney and over the bridge from Pontrilas, lots of space and parking on site.

We have men and women and a wide age range and abilities, so all welcome. 🤗

It’s a drop in at £10.

💛🌻☀️ Surya Yoga is at Llandewi Rhydderch Tuesdays 10-11.15am for £11 a session.

The community have invited in some of the more elderly residents who join us in the group with their chairs and have an adaptive practice and they left smiling and feeling so good.

We also have folk from Abergavenney regularly attend as it’s only 12 minutes away.

The hall from the outside does not show how spacious it is inside and how well kept it is.
