👟 MILES FOR MILLS 👟

One of our senior members Kayleigh Mills has been raising funds for The Alzheimer’s Society; a charity very close to hers and her families hearts.

Here’s Kayleigh’s Story:

Miles for Mills – Walking for Grandma Mills

I will be taking on a 13-mile walking trek across Bannau Brycheiniog (the Brecon Beacons) as part of Miles for Mills, walking for my grandmother, Grandma Mills.

Grandma Mills is living with dementia, and witnessing the impact it has on her — and on our family — has been incredibly difficult. Dementia doesn’t just affect those diagnosed; it affects everyone who loves and cares for them.

Through this challenge, we want to raise as much money as possible to support families living with dementia and Alzheimer’s. Every mile we walk is for Grandma Mills, and every donation will help provide vital care, support, and hope for families facing this disease.

We had a fantastic turn out for our society ‘Curry & Quiz Night’ tonight at Brynmawr RFC 🌶️ ✍️

Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and also to Brynmawr RFC for hosting us and providing a delicious curry during the quiz interval - a fabulous time was had by all and it was a great way to get together, have some fun and raise funds for our upcoming productions! 🎭
