💚 Meet Gemma Barton – NORA Motorsport & NORA CRS Development Team. 💙
From processing rider licences and online entries, issuing licences for officials, trainers and coaches, to checking organisers’ paperwork after events, Gemma plays a huge part in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes… but, her role goes much further than admin. 📝
As Manager of the NORA CRS Development Team, Gemma oversees our Youth and Amateur development programme, supporting young and upcoming riders in Motocross.
From organising team launches and boot camps to coordinating race kits, helmets, bike graphics and the team set-up at events; such as the NORA92 British Cup, there’s plenty happening behind the scenes.
Most importantly, though, Gemma is there to support the riders themselves! Gemma said: "My main role includes supporting riders throughout their entire journey on the team, whether that means being their biggest fan when they’re on top or offering support when they’re working through an injury or a difficult spell."
That support much-needed support, Gemma also extends to their families too, recognising that they experience every high and low alongside the riders.
It’s this approach that Gemma brings to her wider NORA role as well. Whether it’s a rider, club or organiser at the other end of the phone, WhatsApp or email, being accessible and genuinely willing to help is a big part of what she does!
"Knowing they can reach out, speak to someone who genuinely cares, and trust that we’ll do whatever we can to help makes a huge difference. And this goes beyond me - the whole NORA team operates the same way."
From spreadsheets to race weekends, Team Events to rider development… meet another member of the NORA team helping keep everything moving behind the scenes. Say hello! 👋
