Towards the end of last week, this laurel hedge was in need of some attention, so one of our valued customers contacted us to see if we could help.

This week, we completed a small exterior decorating project, restoring and protecting these two dormer windows.

Our first priority was ensuring safe access to both windows, which was achieved by securely anchoring the ladders at the base before any work commenced.

The preparation stage involved thoroughly sanding all surfaces to remove flaking paint and eliminate any imperfections, creating a smooth foundation for the finish. We then applied two coats of Sadolin wood stain to provide long-lasting protection and enhance the appearance of the timber.

The finished result looks fantastic, and our customer was delighted with the transformation.

Last week, we were called out to investigate water ingress affecting the front of a customer’s property.

After carefully stripping back the roof, we discovered evidence of a previous repair where breathable membrane had been installed incorrectly, with several holes present, along with damaged bitumen felt in multiple areas.

To ensure a long-lasting solution, we stripped the roof back to the trusses, installed new breathable membrane and felt support trays, and then reinstated all existing roof tiles.

Towards the end of last week, one of our valued customers experienced an ongoing issue with pigeons nesting beneath their solar panels.

To resolve the problem, we supplied and installed a professional bird-proofing system designed to prevent pigeons from gaining access or roosting beneath the panels.
