🦁 A HUGE THANK YOU TO TRAFFORD LOWE COMMUNITY FUND 🦁

We were incredibly proud to attend the Trafford Lowe Community Fund awards ceremony and receive a generous £500 grant for Lilly Street Lions FC Under 8s.

The ceremony was a genuinely special occasion. It was brilliant to be joined by so many other fantastic community organisations and hear about the positive work being carried out across our local area.

Everyone from Trafford Lowe Funeral Services made us feel extremely welcome. They were warm, engaging and genuinely interested in learning about the organisations and people they were supporting.

We are incredibly grateful for their generosity and for the belief they have shown in what we are building at Lilly Street Lions FC. This funding will make a real difference and help us continue creating opportunities for our young players to play, learn, grow and enjoy their football.

It is brilliant to see a local business genuinely caring about its community and actively helping grassroots organisations make a difference.

🦁 MATCH REVIEW | BRAMPTON ROVERS 🦁

A fantastic performance from the young Lions today. To a man, every player contributed, moved the ball with purpose and showed real intensity throughout the match.

The most pleasing part was seeing the boys trying to play the right way. They worked for one another, made positive decisions and looked to control the game through their movement and passing.

Football is about much more than scoring goals. It is about teamwork, effort, decision-making and having the confidence to keep playing — and the boys demonstrated all of that today.

Kian officially signed for Lilly Street Lions FC last Friday and has already made his first appearance for the club! ⚽❤️🖤

On Thursday, we were delighted to present him with his welcome goodies and officially welcome him into the Lions family.

We’re looking forward to helping Kian enjoy his football, grow in confidence, make new friends and continue developing with the team.

🦁⚽ MATCH REVIEW – STAVELEY ⚽🦁

A real mixed bag today, but plenty to take from it.

A fantastic debut from Kian, and although the boys started a little slowly, they grew into the game and showed plenty of character, resilience and determination. Most importantly, they never gave up, never backed down and enjoyed their football.

We know we stepped off it a little compared with recent weeks, so we’ll take that away, work on our pre-match preparation and look to sharpen things up at training.

⚽🦁 GAME 2 — THE SEASON FINALLY STARTS! 🦁⚽

Following the cancellation of our first game, the boys finally get the chance to kick off their season in Game 2 as we take on Staveley Miners Welfare this Saturday.

It’s been a frustrating wait, but the lads are ready to get out on the pitch, enjoy their football and start putting all their hard work into practice.
