The dog insists he's not being punished and is more than happy with the arrangement... but we're convinced he'd appreciate the occasional coffee break too! ☕🐾

WOW... what a two weeks! 💙🏊
A huge thank you to Fran for stepping in and covering two days for us – you're an absolute star. ⭐️
Two weeks.
Long days.
Early starts.
💦7 hours in the water each day.
💦14 lessons a day.
Then straight back to our own day jobs.
And we'd do it all again.

The statistic that will stay with me forever...
Only 4 out of 48 Year 6 children could swim.

Read that again.
4 out of 48.

That alone made every extra hour worthwhile.
Today there were happy tears. 🥹 Proud of everything these children achieved, and sad that our two weeks came to an end.

We're now handing the pool back to the team for the final two weeks, and we can't wait to see the difference at the end.

Like STA and Swim England, we believe safety, quality and high standards must always come first.
Pop-up pools aren't the whole answer—but when they're delivered safely and professionally, they can give children access to a life-saving skill they may otherwise never have.

Because the real issue isn't the pool...
It's the fact that only 4 out of 48 children could swim.

Every child deserves the chance to learn. 💙

Today -We are happy EVERY child can self rescue , every child can float and over 50% can swim / travel a recognised stroke for 10m 💜

When a volunteer swimmer arrives with flowers and a bottle of gin for our amazing tutor, Lindsey, because they're over the moon with the progress they've made during the crash course with our trainee teachers, it says everything.
Our volunteer swimmer gave their time, energy and trust to help support our candidates throughout the course, and what an incredible difference it has made. 💜💦
