🌟 THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for an inspirational Lead Coach to deliver our Redditch Football Alternative Provision Programme, working in partnership with Football Factory.
This isn’t just coaching football — it’s about creating opportunities, building relationships and helping young people develop skills for life.
You’ll deliver a programme combining:
⚽ Football coaching
💬 Mentoring
💚 Wellbeing support
🚀 Life skills development
for children and young people who are currently not attending education.
🔥 YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
✅ Leading engaging football sessions
✅ Planning and delivering the football curriculum
✅ Supporting young people with different needs and challenges
✅ Embedding wellbeing, mentoring and life skills into sessions
✅ Supporting and developing other coaches
✅ Championing safeguarding, inclusion and positive behaviour
🙌 WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS:
⭐ An experienced football coach who connects with young people
⭐ Patient, positive and inclusive
⭐ Skilled at mentoring and relationship building
⭐ Confident supporting children facing barriers to education or sport
⭐ Passionate about making a difference
✅ WHAT YOU’LL NEED
⚽ Relevant football coaching qualification
🛡 Safeguarding/child protection training (or willingness to complete)
📋 Enhanced DBS check (completed as part of application)
📞 Satisfactory references
