Tonight sees us travel along the A93 for our sixth and final pre-season fixture as we take on Stanley AFC.

Stanley will provide another tough test for the lads as they look to mount another challenge for the Perthshire Second Division this season.

With the competitive season just around the corner, this is one last opportunity to continue building fitness, sharpen things up, and put in another strong performance before the real action begins.

"The Purple" have now played 2 friendlies back on the bowling green surface at The Diamond Jubilee. This is due to Tam and his squad looking after all the cut area that you see. Tam won't take anything for his efforts so a week ago he was presented with gifts from the 2012 team manager Aaron Thomas, who also handed over vouchers for the Ardler Tav from the ammies. Absolute legend Tam, cheers 🟩🔥

With the season just around the corner, this is another brilliant test for the lads against a strong Dundee North End side. The gaffer will be looking for another solid performance as we continue to get ourselves ready for the competitive action.

The biggest challenge of the day might not be Dundee North End… it’ll be making sure half the squad actually wakes up in time! So if you see any of the boys online after midnight, tell them to get themselves to bed. 😂

Tonight sees us return to Diamond Jubilee Park for our first official home game in over three years as we take on Strathmore Athletic in the Russell Todd Memorial Cup.

This fixture means a lot to everyone at the club as we remember Russell by facing his son’s team in what promises to be a special evening.

The lads are absolutely buzzing to be back on home soil and can’t wait to play in front of the Alyth support once again. Hopefully we can get a big crowd along to cheer the boys on and make it a night to remember.
