Dusted off my xc colours to give Colin his first spin around a hunter trial. Lots and lots learnt as Colin has struggled a bit with this phase and his confidence at events, but when he focused he was ace, and judging by his face I think he had a good time!!

Thanks to Mat for the company and to west wilts for a lovely, friendly event allowing a lot of us to get our young horses started 😊

Throwback to a 6 year old River!

Well not much has been going on in between a broken car, broken trailer and weather challenges, so here's a throwback to River being awesome in a lesson with the late Caroline Moore.

Fingers crossed I will get back to this one day and Colin will take over the reins and get me out eventing again

So Brucey boy and I have made our first BD debut together. Feeling somewhat rusty in the ring, having not competed properly for a year and a half now, I was pleased with how it went.

I am still getting to know Bruce, and being a tricky character I am learning all the time as to how to make him happy, and this week has been a particular challenge but we have finished with a positive outcome. Lots to work on in the test, and only one little temper tantrum to deal with, so I'm hopeful we can build a relationship and go and have some fun together.

Thank you to SLR Equine Photography for the image and my mum and sister for their help thus week.

A fun few days training with my best boy Colin!

I always come away from Ingestre with some useful insights and have some homework for Colin and I, getting us ready for the future 💪

Top quote being "you have another year of him being a camel, then you will have a nice horse" 😂 but I couldn't agree more and his little stay away would have added to his training and maturity.

A lovely catch up with Fran Norton as well and her beautiful girly Belle

Here's to more pony training and adventures
