Ardrossan Winton Rovers FC 2016

Well what a day at Winton Park yesterday for our very own festival.

Typical Scottish weather absolutely did not take away from the quality of football and sportsmanship on show.

First and foremost the kids all provided a snapshot of the talent in the 2016s age group across Scotland. They played football in great festival spirits, credit to all the clubs and parents.

The festival was a great success , huge credit to our own 2016 team of volunteers and parents, who organised and made sure the day went smoothly.

Next I am sure a big part of the success of the day was down to the Ardrossan Winton Rovers FC 2013 players who volunteered to referee the games. A great moment of leadership from them and they represented the club and themselves superbly.

Thanks to Ardrossan Winton Rovers FC committee and staff at the club who opened the doors and showed what community means, they kept everybody fed and watered during the full day.

Thanks to Bonnyton Thistle 2016 for coming along to Winton Park yesterday🤝 The game concluded our first block in Ayrshire youth football league as a new team.

Winton started the first half in great form. Playing a variety of good football. Passing moves involving all players and carrying the ball confidently in all areas of the pitch.

We fired in plenty of technically good strikes at the Bonnyton goalkeeper.

Second half full credit to Bonnyton they came out took their chances really well and approached the second half with a great work ethic.

Few extra bits of credit this week Leon playing in a new position to help the team 💪 gave it 100% and Charlie who also had an exceptional work rate💪.
